I am very happy with my 2022 Rubicon 6MT and have had no issues or problems with it, bought new in Feb 2023 now at 21k miles. I am stupidly considering buying a new 2024 Rubicon 6MT and would be very intersted in feedback from anyone who has actually owned both a 2024 and a 2023 or earlier. My reasons for considering this are admitedly petty and trivial.
Why I am interested in a 24:
- the power front seats
- the larger entertainment screen
- not having to hassle with the clutch recall that I haven't bothered to attend to yet (again no issues at all so far)
- nostalgia of it apparently being the last year of an MT in the JT
What I am worried about:
- getting hosed on trade in value, assume I will be out of pocket 10-15k but very interested in trade in values others have gotten
- the airflow of the vents below the larger entertainment screen seems like it would be worse than the huge circular vents we have on 23 and older models
- unwhittengly ending up with a lemon or even one that has minimal problems as we know there are many on this forum that have been unluckly while others like me have been mostly issue free
- rath of my wife (no forum feedback needed on this one)
so as you can see I am 4 v 4 on the decision which is why i post here
