The transmission upgrade looks to be for the higher stage engines. I suspect our 8 speed will be fine on the base version if you drive sanely.

Weight specs too.

It would be nice to compare power to weight ratios against the Hemi.

For the base I'd expect $8-10k. Fords 2.3L ecoboost crate is $7k.

I hope you are right, assuming about double the cost for installed, if i can get the base in for 15K-18K I'll be the ~~first~~ third inline at the installer (so that i'm at least not the first one with all the bugs haha)

I'm curious about the fitment for the axle vs the oil pan and how the firewall will work. I remember the JK having issues with an inline Cummins. So I expect similar issues with this. I'd hope they would offer a minor hybrid option with the base from the factory, but we will see what happens next. I'd surely trade my diesel for a factory inline 6 with those specs.

Considering a 1500hp 426 competition motor is 60k (slide #26) i suspect the 1k hp I-6 would be around 30k if you use use this as a guide.

Yes, I would like to order the Cat1 version with the manual. 420 is enough HP for me and a great number.
