Looking for your list for the first five or best bang for buck mods on the mojave. Here’s mine so far:

- tires, 35’s or equivalent
- step bars
- winch and bumper
- level kit (possibly rockjock)
- light bar or bed solution

what is your list?

I am pretty well pleased with the Mojave. Mine is simple: (1) Trifold tonneau hard cover, (2) Steel or aluminum front and rear bumpers. I am not sure that I want to carry around a 60 lb. or so winch when it will almost never be used.

Level kit is not needed. The Mojave has high fenders and is already an inch higher in front from the factory. Mine sits level.

My list:
Tonneau cover ✅
Hothead Headliners (ordered)
35’s (not yet)
Mud/rock flaps ✅
Bed mounts for trail gear ✅

Mine was based on having a 800ft stone driveway and not wanting to damage paint, and a short wife and young grand kids needing steps.
1.) Rockblotz mud flaps, love them, put on right away.
2.) Rough Country contour side steps. Work great look good.
3.) Rusty’s rear lower control arm skid. Got all three bolts in work great.
4.) RSI cap I didn’t want a pickup but a longer Jeep. Awesome!
5.) Curt front receiver for surf rod rack. Built great works great.
6.) Apex sway bar disconnects. Awesome but $$$.
I am always amazed how much more I have spent on this, the list goes on and on….Jack

- Weathertech front mudflaps
- Rugged Ridge Door sill protectors
- Pedal Commander

I don't see why you would want a leveling kit either. I think mine sits perfect from the factory and I wouldn't want it any higher in the front without doing the same amount in the back.

For me it's

- tires, 35’s or equivalent
- step bars
- Tazer mini to correct speedometer and turn off start/stop
- Bed cover
- Tint front windows and get AVS Ventshades so I can leave the windows cracked when it gets hot

I think a 1.5 inch or so level/lift could make sense depending on the droop that may or may not show up with a winch install. A little more room could help assure the suspension can cycle.

but i am not dead set on it. Agree with most here i dont want to mess with the stock set up too much. I am liking the stance so far, might prioritize a rear bumper instead.

unless you've wheeled before you bought your gladiator, don't get stuck in the trap of thinking you NEED a lightbar and winch.

Here's a little guide about when to buy your first winch:
Buy a come-a-long. Practice with it with a tree in your yard. Get comfortable with it. Then store it in your off-roading "go bag". The very first time you use it, decide if you really need more or not. That's when you get to (maybe) buy a winch. For a LOT of people, their very first time using their come-a-long might be years after they buy a jeep. Extrapolate. If you had a winch, and used it once every 3 years, then you're paying how much per recovery pull? A winch is like a boat. The best kind is someone else's.

Here's a little guide about when to buy a lightbar:
Buy a really good flashlight. I didn't say expensive. I said good. check out reddit.com/r/flashlight. I grabbed mine for $35. super long throw, crazy bright too. Store it in your off-roading "go bag". The very first time you use it, decide if you really need more or not. That's when you get to (maybe) buy a lightbar. For a LOT of people, their very first time using a lightbar off-road is never.

If you're like 98+% of jeepers, even those with legitimate off-road dreams, i've just saved you about 5k.

Either that, or i've sent you on one slightly nervous off-road trip, of which you'll have many others to remember so it wont matter.

I've had aux lights on a number of my vehicles. I always wire them in with the high beams. Then you use them every day.

One thing I would not do it is weigh it down with steel bumpers and winches. You can't order any steel bumpers on the Mojave for a reason.
