I have been looking at these.Thoughts with build quality/fit finish?

Build quality is good, they're super solid and the welding is nice and clean. I liked that they came with the metal strips that bolt to the pinch seam to give it a cleaner finish.

I definitely recommend that you have someone help install them if you go with them due to the weight. They're fairly heavy and bolting the rear bracket to the frame is not as straightforward as the directions make it seem. The rear bracket uses a U-bolt that you have to pass through the inside of the frame. It took loosening the entire thing in order to have enough play to feed the u-bolt through.

I'm definitely happy with them even with the issues I ran into while mounting them. Before I bought them I had read that there was only one frame mount and the other two mounting point were body mounts so I was happy to find that all three mounting points were to the frame.

Played with my expedition essentials paper towel holder. One can either hard mount it or in my case I use the extra strong magnets it comes with to put it on my rack when out camping. When not in use I just have it attached to my Diablo locking storage in the cab.

I’m going to start a build thread on here soon, but I’m too excited to not share my freshly lifted JTRD!

Started part 2 of swapping out the OEM rock rails with Smittybilt SRC Side Armor. Spent yesterday pulling them off and installing the plates that install on the body pinch point. Just finished installing the passenger side rail probably going to wait until tomorrow to finish out the driver side.

Looks like a good step too. I put on the Barricade enhanced sliders after the Mopar lift and 35s and my wife appreciated it.

Well, It's been a busy last 8 or 9 days. After two, multi-week trips into Idaho, Utah and Colorado, I finally decided what I really wanted to do with my overland build. When I bought it in 2020, I just took stuff out of my Wrangler and "made it work" in the bed of the Gladiator but now that we know how we "live" out of the Gladiator...I got to work.

First thing I did was hardwired my Garmin Tread XL and mounted it off my Vector Off-Road Dock:

I had a small James Baroud rear awning already but it just didn't create much of an outdoor living space, so I replaced it with an Alu-Cab 270 Awning and added some 23 Zero Mood Setter Lights (my lovely bride loves that stuff ;)):

BTW: You can see the Baroud awning now reinstalled back onto the Wrangler

For years I have agonized over an electric cooler and have resisted the need to have dual isolated batteries, etc. ; but, we realized how much we hated having to uproot every couple of days to go in search of ice and decided to purchase a Dometic CFX3 55IM Electric Cooler. So to support that major electrical load...enter the Renogy Dual Isolated Battery and PhotoVoltaic (PV) setup. 100W Flexible PV panel mounted to a small RhinoRack platform:
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] 14_SolarPanel

Then I had to fabricate a "Control Panel" to mount everything to. Here's a sequence of that work and ultimately you'll see a Renogy DC-DC MPPT charge controller, 2 Renogy 40A ANL fuses, a Renogy 50aH battery, and an ACS Trigger 4Plus Switch that I am using to control the various loads:

Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] 15_PanelInstall_1

Before someone gets worked up about my panel covering part of the rear window, it's worth knowing that 1) the back door on my canopy does not have a window; so I couldn't see out if I wanted, and 2) because the canopy doesn't have a rear window, I covered the whole back wall/rear window area of my cab with a molle panel.

Note: The switch on the white box is the main switch for all loads except the electric cooler:
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] 19_PanelInstall_5

For water, we had been using RotoPaxes and a 4 Gallon Waterport; however, with the electrical service now available, I installed a 10 Gallon water tank, pump and spray hose:
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] 21_WaterTankStart

NOTE: The below shot was a mockup. I know the tank is upside down in the shot but the final install is actually oriented correctly.

Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] 25_SprayHos

And since I wasn't willing to cut holes in my canopy, I fabbed a panel to mount the tank fill port and hung it off the interior trail rails:
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] 24_FillPort

The Dometic is wired in using the Dometic DC Harwire Kit:
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] 31_FridgeHardwirePort

I installed a USB Charge Station at the back of the bed (this pic was mid-install, so the ports aren't lined up properly):
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] 32_USBChargeDock

I installed the Renogy Bluetooth Module on the PV system; now I can see the status of the electrical system on my phone. In this screencap, I have the engine running so you can see the engine feeding the starter battery to the MPPT Charge Controller and finally the House battery. The PV is also feeding the House battery through the MPPT for a combined 19A charge:

Well...was it worth it? Tried it out for a few days up in the mountains:

Final install for now was a mess of skillet biscuits in my tummy:

I'm still waiting for my Overland Kitchen (used one for years in the back of my Wrangler and had it in the back of the Gladiator for the last two years but they now make one to fit the Gladiator bed) and when it gets installed I'll start working on some storage solutions for anything that doesn't go in the Kitchen. More to come...

I've been testing out these blue tint wide angled mirrors for Suma Performance. I first found out about them a couple years ago with my Civic Type R and ran them. Then convinced them to make them for my Tacoma and now finally our Jeeps. This one has the options for turn signals which I had to wire into each front signal harness and my blind spot monitor system. The owner of the company also said he will make a non tinted version, ones without the signal and I think one without the BSM triangle. They haven't been released yet though. Overall happy with them. Definitely helps to see cars in my blind spot which I feel on our tiny side view mirrors is very beneficial.

Installed my Borla Touring exhaust and switched out my Bullet Point Rubigrid mount for the Expedition Essentials JPAM. Figured I would go with something a little bit more stout to hold my phone and accessories. I have been happy with my Expedition essentials mount on my Tacoma for the last 4 years and been nothing but super happy with Expedition essentials. Still have yet to mount my propane tank holder I got from them also.
How does the touring exhaust sound?

I finally got around to installing the steel bumper with the Warn winch plate, Warn 10S Evo winch and Tuffy flip plate with bar.
For you Mojave guys that are gonna do it make sure you get 8 retaining clips Mopar# 06100843-004 so you can change out the tow hooks and for you lucky guys that have winter and salt like me give a spay to the whole set up since its apart. i used a can of Fluid Film that's my go to quick shot of undercoating. And the LED fog lights are totally different from a Rubi to a Mojave, you have to use the Rubi fogs.

i added a shut off for the winch

Looks like a worthy addition, thanks for the heads up.
Are they real glass or plastic?
