Completed the "easy" winch install. As you can see, the Smittybilt XRC Gen 3 just fits! Had to modify the bottom grill clips to get it on. FYI: it is a Mojave with a Rugged Ridge bumper.

Looks nice! Are those orange covers on the winch add ons or came standard with the winch?

Took apart my Dash for nothing.....the wiring harness I was expecting to be there wasn't there, in the heat, on the street unable to find a 7mm box wrench too.

That is interesting. I just added the bed outlet and outlet switch this past weekend. The outlet switch harness was taped to the light switch harness. I wonder if yours is shoved behind something.

I seen where it's only there with the 240 alternator but I have the 220, 650a battery, 400w inverter, I can run it manually but need to know the cable part #

Upgraded to a Teraflex Tie Rod and Drag Link.

Getting the ball joint off the pitman arm was a struggle. Cheap Chinesium ball joint separator failed. I was luck just to get this thing off.

I took off my quadratec aluminum transfer skid that reduced clearance, and put the stock one back on.

then, I spent a bunch of time taking my Clayton SS relocation bracket off and putting the synergy one on, only to find there’s even more interference with my setup!?‍♂
Long story short, with Clayton bracket, AEV SS, and RK track bar, the tie rod clamp by the diff hits the track bar and drag link at full left turn.
The Synergy bolt doesn’t work at all with the AEV stabilizer. It’s fatter than OEM so synergy bolt doesn’t go all the way through the bushing, not sure if trust a few threads of the hex bolt to hold. Worse, the AEV is so fat that it hits the tie rod.

sooo, I put the Clayton back on and tightened everything up.
