Yes. Things have gotten more expensive as of late.

I have a co-worker who hated the Patagonia’s many people are running because he considered them cheap. Well if a Nitto didn’t cost me $10,000 I’d try one.

FWIW, I paid $390 a tire for 4 of my General Grabber ATX’s in 37x12.5R17. Cheapest I can find now is $428.00c that’s an increase of 10% in just a year.
I just ordered the same tire yesterday for $400. (Actually, X3s) I also got Black Rhino Solid wheels for $220 each. Tire prices are crazy.

Looking at the Kenda Kleever. What does R/T mean. The Kleever 315/70/17 E rated are only $223.48.
Running the stock Wildpeak 285/70/17 C rated. Am I going to notice the stiffness of the E rating? I like the ride now on the Wildpeaks. Was looking at the 315 KO2 C rated but about $150/tire more than the Kleever
I have a set in 35s that we ran for 14k miles on the wife's 4xe. The RT is for rugged terrain as they are between an AT and an MT a little more noise than an AT but not bad. Handled fine in Florida rain and rode well on the street. Off road they gripped like MT in the sand and mud. They have a very aggressive look, balanced easy and show basically 0 wear 14k miles in. Only downside to them is really the weight as they are beefy tires.

Agreed, definitely on the heavier side of things unfortunately.

I’ve had the Patagonia MT for years on my previous JL and the last 2 years on the truck and in mud, snow, sand and rain never had any issues that where not caused by me accelerating to fast for conditions.

When this set wears out I’ll be buying another but since I am in Texas now might switch to AT instead of MT

I have 52K on my Falken A/Ts. I hope to get 60 out of them, still wearing evenly. I don't even want to price the replacements now.

See Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist for a set of take-offs with low miles. Would be a LOT cheaper than new.

That’s why I’m hanging onto mine. I don’t want to pretty much give them away. A spare set of wheels and tires is worth more to me than the x < $1,000 I could get for all five tires (4,000 miles), TPMS, and wheels.

I keep checking the tire section , most have been so far away that the gas $$ would eat up my savings.
