Agreed. But I would change the filter as well. I get that itās early, but extra maintenance isnāt going to hurt anything from time to time. With the valve instead of the traditional drain plug, I genuinely enjoy changing my oil.Pennzoil platinum ultra is $25.
If on the OFF CHANCE you need to replace a drain plug in the middle of a change interval. Something I've never done or heard of having to be done, and can't imagine why might need to be done, Id just change the oil for $25 and leave the filter.
Who has time to eff around with a shop vac or draining and replacing oil ?
You tube is very useful often but some of the crap on there is click bait BS. Like this.
How do you count zero on one hand??? :0)I can count on one hand the number of times I've had to replace a drain plug and couldn't wait to do it at a regular interval.
Because it's zero.
The usual issue is that it's seized up or the head is stripped. You don't deal with that instantly, you deal with it at the next interval. And if you get in a situation where somehow you can't wait, you might as well do a full change anyway out of prudence.
Make a fist. Then shake that fist at the you tube shop vac guy.How do you count zero on one hand??? :0)
Nicely done...Make a fist.
You trapped me. Couldnāt resist. Nice.Nicely done...
I have one for vehicles like boats where you canāt access the drain plug, but Iād prefer to drain it. That way you get everything out.I mean, that's all fine and well but you can get a top down oil change pump from Harbor Freight for under $100. Takes a little bit longer but you don't get underneath at all and it makes far less mess.
