Typo on the 30th anniversary last year was 80th? I took off my black Gladiator decal and put on the 80th edition badge, mine is a 2021 just not 80th edition…..Jack

With Ram and most of European Stelanis models axing their oil burners it makes sense. 4xe is selling like hot cakes, won’t be surprised if gladi drops it in favor of a plug-in.

I've said it before I will repeat: if the 4xe drivetrain would work in the Gladiator, they would already be building it. Same for the Ram 1/2 ton. I don't know what the reason is, but it will have to be something other than the 2.0L for a pickup.

Could be the towing and hauling ratings would not be enough in a truck.

How much weigh do they weigh? This is what I found on google after a quick search. The 4ex is the fat boy.
4ex 5,222 lbs.
3.6 JLU 4,339 lbs.
Diesel JLU 5,061 lbs.

RIP. The writing was on the wall when they announced the end for the Ram. I’ll enjoy mine and hope it lasts a long time!

I’m sure Stelantis will have a hybrid option on Ram, and if Gladiator is still around for a next generation we will see it there. Agreed on the current 2.0 4xe, there must be a good reason for not having it already.
