Jeep Wagoneer Truck?

I am searching around looking for a daily driver mostly to commute to work etc and the dreaded salted roads of NH. I love my Gladiator but looking for something to keep the useless miles off of it. Most likely get a Jk or something, but I came across these photos while searching around. This would actually work well if they ever actually build it.

Lincoln (despite being tied to the number one selling truck of all time) does not have a good history of selling luxury branded trucks. I understand the Blackwood left a lot to be desired from an actual truck, but the Mark LT was just a gussied up F150 and it didn't fly. Likewise the Escalade EXT didn't survive the underpinning Avalanche's axing, when you know if the EXT was any kind of successful even without the Avalanche they would have moved it to a Silverado platform.

If Ford's understanding of the truck market is that a F150 Limited at 83k is going to sell better than a Mark LT at 83k, i'm going to trust them since they once put their money where their mouth was and backed out of that position.

I doubt FCA didn't decided to learn from other's miscues and leave this market alone.

The way I look at it, it's more like JT is 80% JL, 18% new design and 2% Ram 1500 (rear springs are compatible I think I heard somewhere). So, I call it a Jeep. ?

Trucks (including Ram) are all pretty much luxury trucks now anyways on the inside. Seems like a solution in search of a problem.

GM does fine with it with GMC and Chevy.

You have to wonder about the so called Ram Dakota coming for 2024. It's supposed ti be based on the Gladiator with a Ram body.
