A couple quick things down today.........drop the spare out and took all of this shit out since it's now useless. Dropped 103.5lbs. Yes I weighed it all.

Just waiting on a Mirco2 add a circuit and I can finish this install.

Oil and filter change.

Then installed the recon fender extensions that I had sitting in my garage.

Did an adjustment to the drag link to see if it will correct my steering wheel position, will find out when I get to drive it tmrw.

Also cut up the plastic trim for the metal rubicon bumper, I installed a winch over a year ago and just had this piece sitting on a shelf.

Great idea on replacing the plastic ends after installing a winch. I'm gonna do that today!

Any idea how much ground clearance is lost? Pretty sure this is on my "needs" list.
It's 1/4" aluminum that bolts directly to the frame at the lowest points, so with the bolt heads, maybe lose 1/2"??

Not sure how old it is, but that definitely seems like a legit RMA case. For me, they were kind enough to offer it as an upgrade path since I bought it so recently.
Called and they said 1 month warranty and I got mine 4 months ago.. So they don't do credit returns even if your buying the Gen 3.

Instead I ordered some fuse taps and added it in the fuse box to the hot side of the solenoid.. Now when the Jeep is running the aux battery is charging all the time..

He went on about how the smart alternator senses how much voltage the battery needs and if it's not 13.2 volts then the solenoid won't kick on on some crap.. Either way it was cheaper buying a whole kit than buying a single wire from them..

LOD Destroyer full width front bumper.

I have used this bumper to flat tow my JLU (previous ride) from Nevada to Florida and back on one trip and to the Black Hills of SD and up around Wyoming and back on another, plus a lot of smaller trips into UT and AZ. This bumper is a flat tow dream. A buddy of mine used a commonly purchased one and found his jeep trying to pass him in the on coming traffic lane; the D-ring pulled right out of his bumper. This LOD doesn't show any travel wear, it's amazingly well built.

Swapped my Gen3 upgrade in yesterday. They are going to let me RMA the original. New one is much cleaner, but required some rewriting due to me cutting everything to length. VOSwitch main cable also doesn’t reach as is, so have to figure out how to reroute.

If you're talking about the Voswitch power cables, I'm actually going to be tackling that project myself this weekend, just finished talking to one of the reps via email and they recommended 8 gauge OFC wire with 5/16 terminals to fit the switch. Luckily the original wires are only bolted in, no solder on the main board needed.

Here's what I ordered:

I thought about this too but wasn’t sure how you crimp 8+ga wiring.

Saw someone selling their RR snorkel for 200 ducks, so I decided to snap it up because I've always liked the look.

Got it painted for another 75 ducks and test fitted it, I dig it!

Now I need to relocate my Voswitch box to the driver side, so that means that I'll also need to move the ARB compressor to just over the fuse box. I don't mind the re-config, I like the look enough to go through with it.

You'll need a hydraulic crimping tool, just search 8 gauge hydraulic crimp tool, there's a ton of options.

I'm going to try my luck at my local harbor freight, just in case I get a dud so I can return it.

This is the correct way to crimp those lugs, but if your limited on funds to buy such fancy tools you can use a square head bit with channel lock pliers like I use. Makes a solid crimp even with 2gauge and 1/2” lugs for free. Just sayin
