How often do you need to refill the firebox?
not 100% sure yet to be honest. Ive never had one of these before. Always just had a standard wood stove. The firebox is huge on this thing. So this is entirely new. So far today though I have only loaded it with 1 or 2 split logs maybe 16” long and 4” diameter (doug fir and lodgepole) every 3 hours. Which is pretty long of a burn compared to my stoves of the past. The idea is to be able to get 10 hour burn times. But the operation is a little strange so I will be calling the company tomorrow for a couple questions. It could also be that its not cold this weekend like normal. Its only barely freezing outside. But it has been a very consistent 70 inside and that nice warm wood heat. I had to turn temps down to 65.

I couldn't take the family out to lunch today because silly science says I have Covid, so I took advantage of the gorgeous weather and washed the Jeep instead.
I've had much worse colds, so I'm thankful for whatever variant this is.

Glad you didn’t get very sick. I’ve lost two close friends to the “Silly science”: anyway, here’s a pic of my Jeep in the snow.

Finally was able to replace my carpet with the Armorlite flooring last night. It was a pain in the ass like everyone says but turned out great and way better than the factory carpet. I really wish Jeep would make this an option like it is in the Bronco.

Busy last couple of weeks…
Added:
Rubicon Performance rock sliders
2” AEV lift
37x12.5 BFG KO2’s
AEV Salta XR’s

And thanks to Black Friday, en route are some Diode Dynamics Stage Series 6” LED bars, Go Rhino cowl mounts, a Lasfit AUX switch bank, and in my cart… Oracle prerunner lights.

Everyone says it rides better than stock... I think I agree. So hard to tell precisely, but it is 100% as good, if not better. I did the AEV geo brackets so it's quite possible it's riding better.

I too got suckered into way too much on Black Friday and just today bought the Steer Smarts adjustable front track bar to correct the axle alignment just slightly.

You'd notice otherwise if it was worse, so the brackets are working!! I put the front springs and spacers in and it's a noticeable downgrade in ride. I've got the longer Mopar lower control arms sitting in the garage that will help, but with the deal, picked up the Metal Cloak brackets since I went taller than the 2" application the Mopars were made for.

And yeah, I agree, an adjustable track bar is worth it, bought one last big sale ha.

This is how it's Disconnect/Re-connect in the orders below. All this happens in just a split second:

1. Aux switch applies 12v to Relay-30 and to Motor Brake N/O SW.
2. 12V from 87A power the motor.
3. Motor spins pushing a piston separating the two half and also compressing a spring.
4. The switch rod has it's own pre-loaded spring that pushing it along with the motor.
5. Once disconnected, the rod will close the micro switch and activate the motor's magnetic brake.
6. Micro switch also activate at relay-85 to cut power to relay-87A (motor).
7. 12v from relay-87 continue to feed the brake motor. (This is redundant power for the motor brake, just incase the micro switch open while offroading).
8. Switch Off, cut power to relay & motor brake, the spring that the motor had compressed earlier will release/reset the motor and re-engage the bar.

Wow! Thanks for putting this together and providing this information. I will need to take a look at the disconnect I have and see if I can figure out the spoke micro switch configuration/assembly.

Feel free to DM me if you have questions. Also, DO NOT power the motor without it connected to the swaybar.
