It’s huge. Wife and I and two 80lb dogs sleep in there without touching (well, not always ;) ) with plenty of room to spare.
What’s the weight capacity?

How do the dogs get up there?

I added a vermin screen to the upper air intake. made from gutter screen from the HD - easily formed to fit around the intake. It is just friction fit for now. seems pretty solid but will keep an eye on it to determine if a more permanent attachment method is required. Still need to do the same to the grill intake.

Completed the screens for the air intake - grill removes easily with 6 push pins, tilted the grill toward the front then disconnect the camera spray, then the camera connector at the lower right. Pull forward to disengage the 6 clips at the bottom And set the grill aside. Use a T-27 to loosen the cross brace to access the intake port.
I was going to place the screen over the intake port attached with the T-20 bolts at top and bottom, but then realized that only those 2 T-20’s and 2 Christmas tree plugs were holding the rubber radiator surround in place. So I pulled that off and sandwiched the screen between the port and the surround for a cleaner look. There is just enough of a lip on the port for the screen to fit without falling in.

Didn’t even know this intake was there! So there’s the on top and this one. Is there another behind the passenger fender?

I finally got my Black Friday purchases installed on my new JTR:
I installed my Bestop Sunrider top, Bestop Soft rolling tonneau cover, N-Fab Predator Pro nerf steps, and a Redarc Tow Pro Elite brake controller.

I selected the Bestop tonneau cover because it sits on top of the bed rails providing the most cargo clearance, plus the twill fabric matches the Sunrider top. I'm not so keen on how the latches work, but I'll get used to it.

I picked the Predator Pro nerf steps because I don't plan on heavy rock crawling and they are light weight aluminum. However, they don't hide the piece weld as well as others. I also didn't like the nuts provided with the rails, so I replaced them with flange nuts to provide a better clamping force.

Here's the Redarc remote controller placement. For me, placing the electronics box was the trickiest. Also, don't drop the control knob down between the console and the seats! It took me a hour to find that little bugger and at one point I thought I was going to have to remove the seat! One of my next purchases will likely be some sort of gap filler to stop junk from falling into those black hole gaps.

The final mod was a homemade bed fence. It has the same dimensions as two stacked 2x4s, so it can be used for plywood support. However it weighs a fraction of what 2x4s would weigh and it allows for me to better tie down cargo with bungie cords so it won't slide around the bed.

Tomorrow my Diode Dynamics stage series driving lights are coming.

Installed my rear Rough Country Tubular Bumper!!
Funny thing.... When I bought the Rubi, I had to measure to make sure it would fit in my garage (I have a water softner directly in front of her) I had "plenty" of room, now with the addition of these two bumpers, I have about 3 inches in front and 1 inch in back! I have a hanging tennis ball to help park lol
