Thanks, I will probably look at getting a larger hood mount or try and find longer set screws..... the cowl mount works ok and does pretty good with stubby ghost antennas, but trans/rec would be better mounted to the hood...... I m sure most any setup will work on the trail when close.... but I want to be able to reach out in case of an emergency....

Under normal conditions I can reach 20+ miles away over VHF. My HF setup (different antenna) can reach states away.

Thanks man! Here’s the recipe, that is a Rigid SR 20 midnight edition the ones by the pillars are the same thing just in the 6 inch. The bumper is mounted with the rigid jeep wrangler bumper mount PN 41662, the ones in front of the windshield are mounted with the go rhino 730060T mounts. I’m really happy with how subtle it all came out, but works extremely well! And still plenty a room for when I get my warn.

I purchased this for my JT when I installed the aux switches. This would be perfect to tap off of for the winch solenoid.

I installed a Rugged Ridge Spartan bumper, 10000 Rugged Ridge winch, and metal skid plate today. I fashioned a license plate bracket. I was worried about the fog light harness not having enough length since they are now relocated but they did. I should have just bought a new harness because taking the one out of the factory bumper was time consuming.

Threw in some liners from Artec to get the 40’s to stop ripping the fenders off! Easiest install to do and fit perfectly!

I don’t understand the clearance differences between the different liner/chop options. So those replace the stock liner? Do you have to change out the fender light? How is this different from the budget liner chops people do?

I’d like to fit bigger tires with minimal bump stop, and not replace the Oem fender light.

Figured out why there has been a clunk and a sway to it. Figured the sway was from putting crappy stock tires on and the clunk was… because it’s a jeep. Guess not.
