Maybe it will be like I've heard all winter - here comes the big one, boys. Get ready, it's gonna be bad! 6"-9" for sure.
And hour after hour their updates showed us with big amounts of snow, really bad winds, etc.
What did we get? Well, it snowed Thursday, I cleared things up Thursday evening and by Saturday, all 3 to 4" were pretty much gone. Wind? Well, for a while, but not like they said. Friday was nice, not windy and the snow dropped by about an inch by the end of Friday even though it was in the 20s because the ground is SO WARM.
Yeah, I can still stab driveway markers back into the ground in some spots. The ground is so warm it's destroying the roads, sidewalks and driveways because instead of freezing solid, it's freezing, thawing, freezing, thawing, and it's heaving things badly. Bad for trees for sure.
Bitch of a winter when it never fully freezes the ground and keeps it that way.
It's been in the 40s so much this month, and even the 50s, it's crazy. Not good for plant life.
I think I'll skip the plow this time, Forget it. If we get anything it will be gone the next day anyway, if it even accumulates. The ground is crazy warm. Mud is our issue, and busted up and heaved pavement and destroyed driveways.
its got me pretty worried for the summer for sure. We are way low on snowpack now. And i spent something like 1800 bucks last year planting trees and flowers around my newly purchased house and worried theyre not gonna make it. Sadly this weather seems pretty consistent into the future. It dumped snow just yesterdy and now its almost gone already

It just bogles my mind how darn easy it is to steel these things especially with modern tech supposedly so ‘safe’.

Your cell phone has a slide switch to silence it?
on the iPhone there is a switch, albeit a toggle not a slide, just above the volume adjust buttons…

You know if you put the plow on it won’t snow or maybe not much… on the other hand, don’t put the plow on and it will be Armageddon!

Your cell phone has a slide switch to silence it? Never seen that before. I have an up/down volume pair of switches, but you have to hold one to get the volume turned down. Never seen a slide switch on a cell phone.
But a simple disable switch on a FOB would be a great idea! Go in the house, press a button - FOB off (save battery, too!)
I actually have 3 fobs. So I’ll take the old one apart and see if I can figure something useful along that line.

Well I got a lot done to mine this weekend. Friday got the windows tinted and my rain guards on. Today I tackled my first oil change and tire rotation and did the air pressures on them. It needed a bath but that didn’t happen. This is first time in a long time that I’ve done my own oil changes and it felt rewarding!

We help sellers get multiple offer for their car in as little as one business day.
Thank you!!! Yeah the weather is just a bit cold but that’s exactly what I did… and yes it was! ?
Totally worth it, can't imagine waiting till its warm to do that. A little chill is worth the experience.
