Then not having select-trac during bad snow and ice was also a reminder of my config not being ideal and up to date. just too basic of a 4wd system that struggles when it should not have any issue. My former Grand Cherokee was easily able to drive where my gladiator struggled badly.

….

don't get me started on the grand Wagoneer that I also have, one of the worst released products ever from Jeep, nothing but trouble with electrical issues and software updates. Major regrets on buying that vehicle.
Can’t say I disagree there about Select-Trak. I had a 19 Cherokee Trailhawk that was amazing on the road in the snow, admittedly not much of a I comparison. I didn’t fully realize how big of a difference the 4WD systems would be on the road. Not jeeps fault though, that’s mine for not understanding what I was buying or applications. Looking back, should have made that a must have, my bad.

Regarding the Wagoneer, that really doesn’t surprise me. Year one with any vehicle is almost always plagued with glitches. They’re one big computer and you’re basically the tester. My wife drives a Range Rover which honestly has been amazing…except for a couple system glitches that were TCO by computer updates. She’ll trade the comfort and luxury for the occasion bug all day long and on some days I will too!

I kinda look at those as issues that come with the territory, good with the bad. Buy bigger toys, get bigger problems!

I got 59,250 Miles on mine, have never had a single problem, only thing I don't like is the seat needs to go back another 2 inches(which I will soon remedy) and the shift lever for the transfer case rubs my knee. But other that that it is the best climbing vehicle I ever had and I have literally flogged the crap out of it 2 or 3 times. I said if she Flys apart they are gonna fix it. But it is like a tank. No Cels, Brakes still look good, I Really Love it best truck I ever had and I had a Ram Cummins standard 6 speed and it didn't go worth a crap if it even so much as touched grass or soft dirt/mud. Those diesel trucks pull like a beast. They are Road Tractors period. The Jeep Gladiator does it all.

Almost 60k miles in 2.5 yrs and ZERO issues on 2020JT Max Tow. Makes me rethink the money I spent on a 70k mile extended warranty. But, I'd rather have it and not need it as need it and not have it. Lightly moded, Air-Lift air bags, Rancho RS9000xl adjustable shocks, OEM hard-folding tonneau, OEM running boards, and Rubicon "take-off" tires and wheels. No rock crawling, lots of gravel fire roads and dirt double track. Couldn't be happier. Went from a 2018JL and 2009 Silverado 3500 SRW to the JT. Can't haul 50 sheets of plywood and less breakover angle, but I now have one vehicle to insure and maintain. Tow a lifted Jayco Hummingbird 16MBR all over the country (yes, I lifted a travel trailer and installed the Max Tow 17" tires and wheels). 700 mile, one-way, beach trips and less than 20 min on Interstate, tows great on back roads or Interstate. 12-14 mpg towing on back roads, 10-11 mpg towing at Interstate speeds. Also tow a 22' Blazer Bay Center Console boat short distances. Still has original brakes and battery. Mobil 1 every 3000 miles (I know too often, old habits are hard to break). Never had a CEL, squeak or rattle. I've been blessed to have owned 16 new cars in my life and the JT is my favorite. And like a previous poster, my '79 K5 is my second favorite.

JK and JT look great. The green vehicle in the middle looks off road ready as well. Does it have lockers and front sway bar disconnects as well? haha Seriously, good looking family.

30100 miles, about 2 years, and it's my favorite vehicle ever, counting 2 other jeeps and a few better handling, faster, quieter, sportier, more fuel efficient vehicles.

I love it, rattling manual clutch pedal and all.
I love this Jeep so much that we're looking for a JL to replace our JK (which we also love, but it's got 100k miles now).

Other than the aforementioned rattling clutch pedal (common on the MTs), and a leaky axle (warrantied and fairly common on 2021s) right after I bought it, my jeep has been problem free. No lights, or any issues or anything that would keep me from getting where I'm going on or off-road.

Also, the roof comes off, the doors come off, and the windshield folds down. And it's bright freaking yellow. I love it.
You can not get a MT with a manual.

Looking back at your truck after you park, answering questions while getting gas or parked at the liquor store. Bought my new Max Tow sport in July 2020 went picked up my teardrop in April 2022. Can’t say I’m not having fun, cause I’m having a freaking Blast! After getting the steering box problem fixed a I’m just a mule eating briar. Rides great, drives great, tows and hauls great. I keep it full of gas and loaded with supply’s for when get cabin fever. I just feel for the dudes who had too many problems and gave up, I feel for you dudes. But I’m not gonna lose any sleep over my having too much fun. Jeep Jeep

Looks like divorce time. 2021 Sport S 22,100 miles and has the Death Wobble. Dealer has had it for over 6 weeks and all they have done is replace the steering stabilizer which didn't fix the problem. Not happy at all. Love the truck but love my wife more.

Take it to someone smarter.
It can probably be fixed with a wrench.

I don't use my JT as an off-roader, but as a coach's truck. I throw every type of gear in the back. Everyone knows my truck around town. I have to be honest that I wish I gotten an Overland as I like a little more luxury in my primary vehicle. I've been looking to upgrade, but the new prices (here in SoCal at least) are still ridiculous. So I would say I am less enchanted with CDJR and its dealerships, but still love my truck.
