huh??? not sure what those acronyms are…

I’m with you. I ordered a bolt lock yesterday.
yeah. Easy enough. Kinda a pain to open the hood now though. I am slightly concerned that they will freeze up with rain/snow and -20 degree temps. But next winter will tell the truth. I did put some graphite in the lock mechanism though.

Well not really something done with my JT today of sorts... but Monday I was using it as a landmark for ambulance to identify to pick me up. Emergency room then to Emergency surgery total of 3 days in hospital.
Got back home late Wednesday, to just be able to get in the driver's seat for awhile not driving though.
Well a quick little project since released from hospital.

That he does, we've been friends for decades now, since we was on A.D. in Army. I'm kinda "uncle" to his kids and great uncle to his grand kids. Closer than my own family. I took leave from Europe when his son was born. Travelled to be at the graduation and marriage of his daughter.

Now the bad news: I just installed my winch but haven’t wired it up to the electrical system yet. The service manager noticed the installation and explained that ANY aftermarket connection to the jeeps battery system will void the warranty on both the AUX and main batteries! Told him I was connecting it to the group 31 marine battery in the bed. He thought that was best. In my least smart ass tone, I asked him, how does all the jeeps with winches installed with ESS issues that come in for work resolve that issue? He said they don’t, we will not warranty the cost of new batteries.
They don't understand, or care to, that many times those winches aren't frequently used, or often haven't yet been used, are isolated from the battery when not used, or when they are, the engine is running and only part of the drain is on the battery.
Mine has been used twice, but not yet on this truck it's on. They'll still warrant things. A winch would only kill a battery if the engine wasn't running and you had a really hard pull and ran a high duty cycle with the winch.
You get part of the power from the alternator - as long as you up the idle speed of the engine.

IGLA is a brand name of a security system that requires you to enter/press a set of buttons on your steering wheel and dash to start the car. It is configurable so you can choose the buttons. However it requires a professional installer

Well, I received my bed mat today and my tri-fold bed cover yesterday. I put in the bed mat, put in my diamond plate big toolbox, that was actually made for under the bed of a roll back wrecker, chained and padlocked it down, and put everything together. The toolbox just fits under the tri-fold bed cover, but it fits. Have my air pump, small floor jack, kinetic ropes, other tools, etc., in it. Works great. Thought I would show a picture of it here. Bought the diamond plate locking toolbox on Amazon quite a few years ago and I am happy I did!

Installed a sun rider tonight. It took longer to get the freedom panels in their bag than it did to install the sun rider. I got it for 10% off from the dealer. The dealer said it’s the twill version. It doesn’t feel made from thick material, but I have nothing to compare it to.

Looks to me like a twill version. Just put up one up for sale locally $750.

Congrats on your new top.

Took off my bed rack since I don’t use it anymore and picked up a softopper off Facebook to use now. They used the clamps that use the trail rail system and I didn’t have that so I installed some deep Unistrut instead. Works great. It was dusty from trail use and I got it on just in time for the rain to clean it off.
