I knew more about the Gladiator than my dealer did. At one point, I was the one showing him all the options I wanted to get.

This is especially frustrating, know the product you’re trying to sell me. I left a dealership where the guy didn’t know the simple 4.10AR to “max tow” relationship. That’s ok, I was just using them for a test drive anyways.

Offer the JT with a Hemi and a diesel and they will fly off the lots. Electric JT's will be paperweights. JMO.

It annoys me to no end that the hemi would fit fine in the Gladiator and they just won't do it.
In the Ram the V8 is standard in most trims but knowing Jeep they would charge 10k for this option in the Gladiator.

This is a little off topic but I took my gladiator in for an oil change. My dealer said “we recommend new wipers, they’re streaking.” I said” did you even clean all the bug splatter off before you “tested” the wipers?” He just walked away. And gave me an itemized suggestion/future maintenance form lol got back in my truck and the windshield was still full of bugs just the way I brought it in! ??

One thing is true, no one knows less about the products (usually) than the folks at the dealer...

Unpopular opinion, but I will never ever own an electric car.

I can’t wait until the death of subscription service culture, but until that happens I’ll continue to own a gas powered car and use my power windows and locks for free.

First salesperson I talked to wanted to show me where the gear shifter was, how to open the glovebox and use the sun visor, etc. like a total idiot. Kind of like the stereotype of a male salesperson with a female customer except the sexes were reversed in this case. I was polite, and I left. Next time I went to the manager and made it clear I wanted a salesperson who actually knew something about Jeeps and who owned a Jeep.
