Calling All us diesel operator's! Just did a search on WIX’s site and lo and behold they finally have a filter for the 3.0 Jeep diesel’s. Part number WL10614. As of right now Orielly’s is the only local store near me (CO) that has it. And of course they don’t have in stock and need to order. But hey! I’ll take that at this point. Amazon is a crap shoot on quality and the local Dealership funds their vacations on their parts department. Good luck and happy trails!

I like Wix filters, but I'm not going to pay 50% higher than what I get OEM filters for.

I was pretty much under the understanding the WIX filter was "unobtanium" for the most part despite WIX cataloging it.

Doc’s has had that part number up on their website forever now. They give you the part numbers that cross reference to their 35 dollar filter.

I would say it is high probability it is made in China. Most of the WIX cartridge filter styles sold in the USA are made in China and to a lesser degree from Poland. WIX has manufacturing plants in both Poland and China.

They all could be made in the same plant. Just different packaging.
That's my feeling, too.

I just ordered a pair of non OEM filters, slightly more expensive than on Amazon, and they look very similiar to the OEM ones.

But I am still not brave enough to test if they are really same, maybe after the next 3 oil changes.

I ordered also some (relatively) cheap fuel filters from China which I will try in any case.
Think the risk on malfunction for these is quite low.

How many of you are running the docs fuel and oil filters, any issues with them? Reviews on their website look good. But wondering if they are just rebranded knockoffs from Amazon?
