Love the idea of the USB in the bed...will do something of the sorts...also planning on installing the AUX next week and these are the uses:
  1. Front spot lights (BD)
  2. OBA (Extreme Outback)
  3. Rear work light
  4. open
Off my Auxiliary deep cycle batter I will have my fridge, water pump (for shower), rear USB plug and rear LED amber strip light working directly...

Hooked this up today to one of the 40a Aux switches. Has a double USB plug and the standard cig lighter type plug, plus three switches I will be using for LED bed lights and side lights or whatever else I can think of.

I'm interested in what you come up with for lights. Probably the biggest disadvantage of the Gladiator for overlanding (compared to my Wrangler) isn't something major like I don't have a fridge, or the storage drawer and shelving space or such. It's that I don't have an overhead light to illuminate my makeshift table (the tailgate) at night like I do on the JK (both of us have the Brawley liftgate light--one of the best mods for a JK Wrangler) ...

That is exactly why I want power back there. I have my eye on some LED strip lighting with diffuser to put on the top rails of my eventual bed rack for the sides and rear. Waiting for Maximus-3 to put their rack in production.

Very clean install! I have the outlet in the bed, so I ended up drilling holes in the bed before I had line-x put in. I still need to run my wires and all for it still.

Can I connect a GMRS 50 watt MXT575 to ignition wire or aux stitch? Or should I connect directly to the battery?

Sounds like a good candidate for ignition. You'll also have the power switch on the radio.

In all my Jeeps, 2 Way Radio power goes to the battery. This is primarily to help eliminate noise introduced from other sources. You can use the aux switch as long as the relay can handle the current requirement of the radio.

I have the VOSwitch. my layout is :
SW 1 - Hoop 18" light bar
SW 2 - Empty (Ditch lights planned)
SW 3 - Winch solenoid
SW 4 - Front red lights
SW 5 - Rear red lights
SW 6 - Empty (Unknown at this time)
