Did you post any photos of the process or completion? Would be nice to find a diesel extended tank.
One thing I forgot to add, there is a YouTube guy called "the road chose me" and he did a very good video of his install that I referred to A LOT!

You had me at wheel jack. ?
I just went to 37s and Method Bead Grips. ...I didn't want the chance of a ticket or getting pulled over for beadlocks. I hear the tickets are hefty...

I didn't know this tool existed and am going to HF today!
When I did my front lift, thought I was going to get a hernia lifting those heavy SOBs up and align it.
I have to pull them back off to finish my fender liner install.

Thank you for the insight.

check your local law. last time i have checked there is only a few states that make it illegal. it might not be DOT rated but you cant get pulled over for it. Most states have restrictions on a lot of parts but always seem to forget wheels on requirements and restrictions. Now you can play the insurance game of non DOT part but there are a lot of after market parts that do not meet or have DOT approved stamp. Now some states are just Dicks like California and but the write you a ticket for just looking at cops lol.

lol i know a few people down there. you think Oregon would be just as bad but they dont have strict auto laws or care. They mainly focus on the tuner world and street racing. I actually just ordered some KMC Riot wheels, should have them on next week

You can adjust the height of the wheel/tire and rotate them on the "vehicle dolly" to get the studs to line up a little easier.
So much easier!!! ? and holds the tire!

Finally installed the last of the control arm skids. Have to admit getting old sucks, had to get help to reach 190 Ft. Lbs. torque, at least I have a strong son. Now all my control arms are protected, they were getting abused on the trails and I didn't realize how much until I started installing the skids.

Great work. They’re definitely a bear to install. I have a love hate relationship with my Lca and rear shock skids, but they protect the expensive lca’s, shocks, and frame brackets, so I’m always happy to have put them on.

I know evo and wfo long arm fronts move the control arm brackets to the side of the frame to help with the beat down….. is anyone making high clearance rear control arm mount/brackets. (Good lord I hope this question can skate by the drop/geometry bracket folks. :| )

Yes, I agree with you. I am building my truck to have fun. I don't want to get pulled over for stupid stuff.

I don’t know, but would be equally interested. And I agree, drop brackets are not my preference.

I think rear Lca or shock skids are on next ventures list at some point.

Ian in FourWheeler mentioned a company during the LS1 swap, but I don't remember the brand. Note that his Gladiator is a JK with the rear chopped off. Unfortunately I watched it last week and deleted the episode on my DVR (FuboTV) and it doesn't seem to be on-demand.

His plasma CNC machine is bada$$!!!

Relocation brackets to the side of the frame? Or just in general?
