'21 Overland Diesel, bone stock, I was avg. 28 mpg hand calc. With rubicon takeoffs I'm avg. 26 mpg and there is very little flat ground where I live. I bought the Diesel for the torque and sound and am tickled to death with the performance of the Gladiator.

Mine dipped a bit, I'm guessing from winter fuel.
Averaged 19.5mpg this weekend from San Antonio TX to Broken Bow Oklahoma and back. Mixed driving, all at speed limit or 5 above, offroading, idling.

40's on stock 3.73's

And at what mileage do you think it was broken in?

Winter fuel must have hit me a couple tanks ago. I thought it was me drove in the deep snow. Maybe both. I'm currently down under 20 on 37s. I'm going to drive slow and shift early for a tank to see how high I can raise it again. In the winter. Thinking gde may be in store for Christmas.
Oh good for me; the next day driving not through deep snow, I was back into the 20s again.

<edit>
got it to show 21.0 on the screen today.

At 66500kms on stock gears and tires, 27mpg combined and with the derringer on level 6 I am getting 26mpg. Though I try to hypermile as much as possible with an avg highway speed of 88kph. Range is usually 725kms between fill ups of about 65L

Starting the car in general only for distances above 20 miles (mostly above 100 miles) I am getting between 26 to 30 mpg at speeds between 65 and 75 mph.

Completely stock overland trim.

Might as well keep this thread alive…

stock I was right on the EPA rating (27 hwy) but it wasn’t stock for long. Currently with Alu-Cab Canopy Camper, fridge, aux fuel tank and lots of other tools and camping load-out, 37x12.5s, 3.5” lift, winch, armor: I get 23 hwy if under 65, 20 hwy at 70+. Lifetime average 19.4.

Did a 500 mile highway only trip and got 17.9
Mojave doesn't have a diesel, and the ? was for diesel mpg-- you're in the diesel forum

I ordered and purchased my 2021 JTRD in 2020. Picked it up right before Christmas.
The first thing I did was put on 35" tires and a winch. Later I did the Mopar 2" Lift, rear Hellwig Sway bar, Rear air suspension, upgraded fox shocks, and a few other suspension-steering mods.

I keep a record of Fuel Stops, Repairs, and Maintenance on a spreadsheet. (anal person)
Here are the (hand calculated) real world totals of my vehicle. This includes wheeling in Utah, snow wheeling, and city/highway miles. We have taken a few trips with the camper and my rig weighs 6,200 lbs without the camper and 7,200 lbs with camper and loaded with people, dogs, and gear. (yeah I know)

Here are the results as of this last month.

Did I say I absolutely love my JTRD!

I normally, usually, generally my mileage ranges between 20.5-22.5 mpg driving at 65-70 mph at/around 3500-5000 feet elevation. My truck is bone stock except for the RSI Smartcap and Linex in the bed. This stated, while towing my mileage tends to average 10-11 mpg when driving in the same conditions previously mentioned. I'm okay with the mileage; it's way better than my dad's old '75 Ford F250 SuperCab, but the reduced range is a problem as I'm needing to fill up every 176 miles or thereabouts. I'm planning to drive my JTRD to Alaska in a few months and will need to pack lightly and bring 15-20 gallons of additional fuel.

That’s… incredible mpg for those tires and gear ratio.

Actually that's on the low side for a diesel - and this is a diesel MPG thread in the diesel section.....
They typically blow into the mid-20s with ease even modified.
