You really only need the controller and can splice it in with butt connectors. I over complicated it with the weather pack connectors because I had spares on hand and wanted the ability to remove the controller and connect the factory harness back together.
Much appreciated!

If you want to save even more money on the controller, you can find them on ebay for like $2 from China sellers. That is what I did and took about a month to show up.

I got the thermal hooked into the cargo cam today. Screw paying for a kit. I just used a couple of dupont breadboard wire jumpers with the plastic housings removed. They plug right into the connector. They don't snap in but I just zip tied them to another cable to secure them. I hooked up an RCA extension cable and ran out out under the dash to the themal camera video junction.

Neighbor's house.

Thanks.

I ended up using ethernet connectors and modified an old POE injector for the power input and T video tap so it can display simultaneously with the little 4.3" screen on the dash.

Testing to see if both video feeds will work simultaneously before doing the full install.

Also put some 285/75/R18s on it today. The driver's front decorative hub retention fingers broke while on the balancing machine. I wonder if I can 3D print something to fix it.

When checking polarity, keep in mind that from the factory the speakers are wired with negative polarity, so you'll want them wired with negative polarity to keep them in phase with the rest of the factory speakers.
Thanks. Great information that I wouldn’t have known.

If they are reverse polarity, do you know what wire colors coming out of the sound bar should go to positive and negative speaker terminals?

I’ve done a few things to my new ride since picking it up in February: WeatherTech mats all around, Tyger Alloy bed cover, Samman dead pedal and, most important, blacked out the antenna! So far I’m loving the rig…. so different than my (totaled) ‘15 JKU.

My wife insisted on WeatherTech for it even before we brought it home and she ordered them herself. She is right. They are the way to go.

Finished up adding the Mopar 2" lift kit last weekend. First I tackled something this extensive, took me 2 days but was absolutely worth it. Some of those 4 year old bolts were hard to break loose! Then centered the steering wheel which couldn't have been easier.

Looks great Joe, skinny 35” tires and that two inch lift is what you are gonna need to drag my unlifted , skidded to the Max, Glady through Rausch Creek this year! Pat and I hope the boys are good, still laugh about them kicking their ball down that long hill!….Jack
