Best Cabs for Truck bed

Hi There!

I am reaching out to read any reviews anyone has about the GAIA Cab for the Gladiator. Looking around at the Cab market for the truck bed and not sure what cab is quality and what is trash. GAIA looks super sick and versatile but unsure as reviews are super limited and the custom shop I would order through in NJ has only done a small number of these style cab.

What are some of the best cabs out there?

would appreciate some recommendations.

Only one i can speak of is my smartcap it’s stainless steel and i assembled the panels super good quality no issues fit and finish was perfect very heavy duty struts for the doors and water proof very well we had several flash floods lately around here and it’s been dry inside.

I've got a Gen 1 RLD one I would say it's not bad but as far as I have seen from the company lately I think it not in production anymore.

Alu-cab is highly regarded by everyone I've heard on them, it was more than I wanted to spend. I was thinking about the Smartcap and RLD I e-mailed them for info got no response so made few phone calls and lucked into the RLD one at a price I couldn't refuse, no where near the price listed. That was as long as I wanted side windows, with white doors. Now after having it installed and on for around 3 years. It has dust intrusion and some water leaks in. The mounting points for roof bars has slight leak in one spot I need to re-seal it. That's with a hardshell RTT mounted. Now there is a few fiberglass toppers that can support RTT or kayaks ect. made here. IMHO, the Alu-cab is the gold standard for weight and being around for long time. No shade on the Smartcap though, they had a shaky launch for some.

Sometimes it's better being lucky than good.

I do beleive they are 125 without windows, 135 with windows.

I have the RSI Smartcap evo! I like it !

Yep, thats why I went Alu cab. With the weight of aRTT and awning, every pound counts with soft Mojave springs. I installed the airbags as well.

I hope to be posting my cap in a couple weeks as it’s being built. ARE Classic with sportsman side windows and roof bars. Color matched Sting Gray. Can’t wait!

I’ve always had a favorable experience with ARE on my gladiator and Rams

I like the idea of the Giai canopy also. Really like the opening top, maybe a RTT could be added down the road utilizing the open top of the canopy.
Wish there were a few adopters on here.
