Another vote here for the Alu-Cab.

Jeep Gladiator Best Cabs for Truck bed 1000004519

The ARE, Leer, and maybe other plastic/fiberglass don't play well with the soft top Gladiator roof, so we were limited to the metal caps with the flat front panels. Alu-Cab won over the RSI due to the lighter weight and one piece (no gaskets to leak) construction, and was a little bit less expensive.

I do really like the idea of the pop up top in the Giai though. I hope someone gets one soon and shares their opinions.

I was told by ARE that their shells weigh about 165 pounds. I have one and it fits great and have no problem with the factory roof of the JT. The opening side windows are great.

Another Alu-Cab fan here. I love that all three sides can open fully and the weight savings is nice also.

I found a like- new RLD with side windows. Former member that needed a 3/4 ton to pull his new 5th wheel made me a helluva deal. I’ve been incredibly pleased with it. Looks great on my Sting Gray with black hardtop JT.

Funny story- I was sitting in a parking lot one day listening to 2 guys walking by and talking about the “long wheel base Wrangler”. (My JT). One claiming he knows all about the Wrangler with 3 row seating, even claiming to have test-driven one and didn’t like it. ?

Nice! We love our Winnie! Ours is the 2529rg Winnie. Weighs 6200 empty but Rubicon hauls it well. Added a Reese sway cam system for the sway and pulls great! People can’t believe I pull it with Gladiator

Don't know if its the best, but it's a well known brand and has done pretty well so far. I do feel it's can be better and some of the newer competition may have added some improvements. My biggestpet peave is the door locks. They can be a bit fiddley to lock and unlock. Also, some of the newer model has integrated locks (one lock per panel). I've also seen newer models with exterior mounting options. If I were to get one today, I'd take a hard look at extrusion overland. There topper seems to be really modular and versatile. You can convert it to a rack, a topper or camper.

Nice T.T. mine is a Scamp 16ft. I need to get motivated and do some renovations on it. It will be 14 years old in Nov.

AluCab. I did not want something like the ARE because they look too fit and finished, the truck starts to look like a big SUV rather than a truck.
