I wish I had a really cool trail story to go with this, but I backed into a friend's tree.

I was able to massage out most of it out.

I ordered a new tailgate through Painted OEM Parts. They matched the color and sheen perfectly. I put on new "Gladiator" letters. I was on the fence about aftermarket letters, but I think they look pretty decent.

Sorry for your troubles. I feel your pain. So educate me. Did you use the order form online or did you call them? I just looked at that website. Had never head of it until now. I need a couple of parts from my incident a week ago but the parts are not listed but there is a number to call to try and locate parts not listed. I'm weighing my options at this point. I really don't want to replace my hood and grill and have it painted I as feel it won't be as good of a paint job as the factory. I have a PDR guy that may be able to get the dent and crease out but it may not come out 100% based on the location. There is a tiny chip in the paint but I'd rather just touch that up vs a new painted hood. I don't mind the repaired and painted grill piece nearly as much. Any insight would be appreciated.

Castle nuts helped me decide as well, just a personal preference. Much less feedback on washboard sections of pavement, less delay when steering, just more confident steering.

out with the old homemade rock sliders

and in with the new.

I didn’t really trust my old sliders since my welding sucks. I had rust spots coming through the welded areas anyways. I’m not a fan of the black but it’s gonna get tore up anyways. I can already see where I’m going to weld some brackets to the frame to stiffen these up more. Not bad for $300 shipped I guess.

I would give them a call. Their communication was good. There was a delay in getting the part, so they've been giving me periodic updates. Their claim is that they match factory specs. From the looks of it, they did exactly that on my tailgate. It wasn't cheap, but I was paying for convenience. Mine was just over $1200 shipped to my door. It saved me the hassle of driving around and getting quotes, and most places wouldn't even want the small job anyway, especially without insurance claim. I'm really happy with the quality job. No way to tell it is a replacement. I might spend some time on my old one or just list it locally for someone else to buy and fix.

Your damage doesn't look too bad. For the hood, I would get some estimates locally, and maybe see what body shop your dealership uses. Bummer that your damage came about from road debris.

It was just over 3K for parts and labor on everything. It definitely may be worth looking into.

Installed side marker lights, but I followed the guide from morimoto, tapped into the white/brown wire and that is....not...the blinker light. It's a parking light.
The lights come on when you start the truck, then turn off after like 30 seconds moving forward.

Nice lights, just wish I had a correct diagram of which wire the blinker is so I don't have to start poking holes everywhere.

Installed a set of airlift bags on the rear of my Mojave. With a camper up top and some additional weight I was getting a bit of squat. Running 12 psi at the moment and I’ll see how that feels.

Yesterday I washed it and hosed down the front mats. I unknowingly underestimated the mess that an olive tree (I think) makes. If you've parked in the street by the Moab Brewery/Distillery, you probably know the trees.

Wish I had known you were gonna do this. There is a wiring harness that's plug n play that attaches to the plug behind the fender. It has 3 wires coming off of it that are marked for turn, DRL and running lights. No splicing or tapping wires. Clean and simple install. Did that with mine.

I did something similar using a quadratic drl harness. I just spliced into the blinker circuit in the harness and made a t harness. I’m not a fan of taps, or touching the factory harness at all.
