We ordered a pair of Mopar engine air filters for the 3.6, from Amzn, in late 22 for $28 combined. The best price that I see online is now around $46 for a single. Wth !?!?

buy a washable filter, oil it lightly, pat dry with a towel and let dry for an hour or two then pat dry again and pop it back in. I have a stock K&N drop in if you want one, PM Me. you can reuse them almost infinitely for about 50-70$,

I've been buying from @AllMoparParts.com for years because they will discount shipping and I don't pay sales tax. This is what I'll be getting now, due to the crazy increase. I use the Subscription option so it's cheaper.

K&N reusable drop-in. Pay a little more initially and never have to buy one again. They're super easy to clean and re-oil, too. You'll have a "new" filter whenever you want.

I bought a Fram air filter at Wal-Mart yesterday for $19.52. Had to go to Advance for the cabin air filter, $19.99.

The only reasonable use for washable filters (K&N) is in race or marine engines. Test after test has demonstrated their filtering capacity is dismal. Ironically, they clean better with dirt loading and perform less well initially after cleaning.

Paper filters are quite efficient and even at $50, are pretty cheap on a per mile basis if you change every third oil change (15-20k miles).
