Jefe as per our state it does qualify for the Lemon law. If this DPF doesn’t fix it then we will move forward with the Lemon law. maybe buy back or a Vehicle that’s identical all of that is very new to me so not really sure how that works.Uhhmm… hate to say this.. but any chance you can get this lemon law’d?
Agreed!!! If it wasn’t for the 100,000 mile warranty and only 7500 miles on mine haha would be a no brainer.Prime candidate for a weight loss program.![]()
Guess I glossed over the miles. I hear you, the warranty is why mine's still fat and sassy.Agreed!!! If it wasn’t for the 100,000 mile warranty and only 7500 miles on mine haha would be a no brainer.
Sadly haha, no doubt Jenny Craig does amazing things. The super duty loved the meals.Guess I glossed over the miles. I hear you, the warranty is why mine's still fat and sassy.
But at some point, we'll check into genny craig.
Thanks Mojave. Dang doesn't seem promising as my CEL came back on.Sorry to hear about your troubles, it sucks to hear, I know a guy that has the Jenny Craig meals in stock in west Texas area.
I found him when my brother was going through the same issues with his JTRD. Dealership had his for over 4 months and just got it back about 2 months ago and that was the second time it has been in for it and he only has 17000 miles on it now
Well $##%. Well it was so fun having here back and well hell that was short lived CEL came back on. So now I am hit up Jeep for a replacement. As I Still love the platform.Fingers crossed for you buddy! 2 1/2 months dealing with this had to be irritating.
Mine is in the shop right now for a DPF code and black soot in the tailpipe. I have almost zero confidence in the process and am estimating 3-6 trips into the dealer before it's finally fixed........
I told my wife this morning on IM about your situation and hoped ours won't be the same/similar! We at least got 52K almost trouble free miles before something popped up.Well $##%. Good Luck Crazy, My dealership has been awesome to deal with So I am grateful for that. Sadly these "techs are only parts changers" so we swapped out all the dang parts so now lets see what they say. But I sent the email and phone calls that I want another vehicle. Yeah that's what is seems like 4-6 trips and then like what now. keep us posted.
the first time was dpf and sensors and second time was dpf again but it was clogged due to insufficient fuel pressure and had to wait for a new filter and hpfpThanks Mojave. Dang doesn't seem promising as my CEL came back on.
There are specialized mobile techs that focus on trouble shooting and tracking down electrical issues. A buddy of mine had to use one when he ran out of tests he could do to trouble shoot a bad running chevy. Long story short the tech found an ok looking random ground ring but on deep inspection the wire had corroded in the crimp and was screwing with voltage causing the engine to shut off.I told my wife this morning on IM about your situation and hoped ours won't be the same/similar! I'm a mechanic/shop owner, but specialize only in the undercar stuff.......I have to wonder if your issue isn't a wiring harness and the parts changers can't see the problem and not capable of diagnosing it. What a nightmare!

To your point if you replace all the parts with new and it doesn't fix it, then it's a wire issue. ..
Yes, I'm a member of an Auto shop owner's group and there are a few of these guys on there. Many also do mobile module reprogramming too. There are specialized mobile techs that focus on trouble shooting and tracking down electrical issues.
