Power Wagon is my "dream truck" (yes over the TRX) has been since I watched a bone stock one maneuver a trail nothing at the time could. And it is a big comfy vehicle (depending on the trim level, very comfy).

That said, I refused get one because in my area it would be a mall crawler. And that would just be sad. If I had places to stretch it out I would have had one YEARS ago.

From someone that has owned a few new RAMs and a Gladiator they are WAY too different for anyone to tell you what to do.

If range of motion is a factor, IMHO get a 1500 Laramie or Rebel with the auto steps, 4-corner air suspension and uplevel the trim. I bet you would be on cloud 9.

On one of our trips to Moab I watched a group of Power Wagons doing a guided trail ride on "Behind The Rocks" trail. We were just ahead of them and would stop to watch them do the obstacles we just finished. Those trucks are impressive.

Think I know those guys. The PW guys do 2 get togethers a year. One at Rausch Creek, and the other in Moab.

Respectfully, sounds like a no brainer. You need to be comfortable while operating a motor vehicle.

Well, to put awrap on this thread I've decided to stay with my Gladiator. I just don't have the time to remove all or most of the aftermarket stuff that I will get nothing for in a trade and I don't have the will or energy to go back and forth with a stupid salesman. I love my Gladiator and I'm just going to look, for a seat relocation kit and do my suspension rebuild as I had planned. Thank you for all your advice and opinions. This Jeep forum is the best one out there.

I have decided the same. Thinking hard about lifting mine and making it more fun!

Edit- ordered. It’s been in my cart for a long time

That's what I've had for the last couple of years. Great kit.

I was looking at doing the same thing after seeing weekly commercials for 2500 Tradesman trucks with the PW package for $49,162 here is the Tulsa market. Sadly these Gladiators do not hold their value very well IMHO. I was offered $34k trade value for a 2023 Rubi w/ 17k miles and $5k of aftermarket parts. What an effing insult. That said, I'm keeping it and just bought a 7yr/125k extended Mopar warranty. Like the OP, I'm a big guy and the extra room appealed to me. Having said that the Misch Big Boy seat brackets made a huge difference in my Gladiator and are highly recommended for anyone on the taller size.

It's a hard move to make right now with the way the market is. Makes it really hard if you don't have title in hand. I've been in a full size truck for a long time, currently a 3500 long bed limo. When I got my gladiator it's definitely a big shock when you have far less space. I do prefer to drive my gladiator over my 3500 as its a go cart feel compared. The gladiator definitely has more accessories options and you can built it out so many different ways.

That’s another problem for me. My JT doesn’t fit in the garage and barely fits in the driveway.
That's important, many people don't consider that. I have a 30x50 pole barn so I have always thought anything will fit. But then we bought a lifted Winnebago Revel 4x4 camper van....my barn has 10 foot walls with 9 foot bay doors (van is over 10' tall) so our most expensive vehicle sits outdoors for now.

I didn't read through all of this, but my only problem with the PW, is getting a 2500 Ram and the payload being less than my Gladiator. It can technically tow more, but with no payload you'll have a hard time doing anything meaningful. The whole concept of a heavy offroader is ridiculous, but Ford has a much better deal with the Tremor actually being useful as a heavy duty pickup that is an okay offroader. So that's what I bought.

There's still the Tradesman w/power wagon package that still retains the typical 2500HD payload. I think only the dedicated PW truck is reduced. Otherwise its closer to 3700lbs IIRC.
