Saw this yesterday but I couldn't find anything actually backing up what he was saying but it's on youtube so it must be true.

I truly believe that if it wasn't for the stupid coal rollers who broadly advertised, even bragged, about just how much smoke their trucks made, combined with the criminal types who buzzed cyclists while recording on their phones to share on the socials, the EPA wouldn't have come down so hard on the diesel truck industry. Really sad people and, in my opinion, it was those idiots who ruined it for everyone.

Doesn't matter for those of us with state and county-level emissions.

Yes, people seem to forget it's the local and state governments that really control things related to emissions through their registration process. Doesn't matter who is siting in the throne at the federal level.

My state doesn't have emissions testing, so people here delete their diesel vehicles not long after buying them new.

I'll stay emissions compliant for at least 15 years, then I'll reassess part availability. I have a suspicion that Ram/Jeep are not going to continue supplying parts (EGRs DPFs, SCRs, DEF Pumps, DEF Heater Line, Sensors, etc.) for these vehicles once the platform is 10 years old.

I've already been buying parts for my 2015 EcoDiesel because they are getting harder and harder to find. Ram has already discontinued a lot of parts.

Wow, if that comes true, I will pay someone good money to remove everything DEF related on the F550 chassis used on my motorhome. The 6.7 Turbo is the best motor we have ever had in a motorhome, but I HATE dealing with DEF.
