Deciding to give up on Jeep

For several years when I was busy wheeling and traveling I was like dang why all these people watching grown ass adults play with this oblong ball.

Welp.

Here I am.

Watching grown ass adults go vroom vroom in a circle, sometimes three times a week, checking in on Fan Rewards, Fantasy lineups, etc, attending Atlanta for the third time in three years.

I'll take the heat. lol.

I settled on life has phases, and its OK to roll with them...

I remember one of the Lexus IS engines had a big oil issue - 1qt per tank of gas in some cases, iirc. Eventually there was a recall for engine replacement and those engines came with 10yr/100k warranty.

Yeah, I don't think there's a "perfect" auto MFG. "Most reliable" can be interpreted as "sucks less."

Is there even such a list , I am sure has to be . Wonder who comes out on top as worst. It's Rivian and GM

Lots of Toyotas in that picture, hopefully he didn't get a newer Tundra or a Tacoma. The "fixed" 3.5s aren't fixed and only have a 1 year warranty after fixed, shows how confident Toyota is in the replacement engine. If he thought misfires were a problem just wait until that engine grenades on you.

Also, Jeep isn't owned by FIAT. It's "owned" by Stellantis. Stellantis was formed by a merger of PSA Group and FIAT Chrysler Automobiles.

Technically, it's owned by companies, trusts, funds, and individual shareholders; the 3 largest shareholders are Exor, an Italian holding company (aka family behind FIAT), Peugeot Invest, and Bpifrance.

But hey, who are we to get in the way of the cycle of the victim mentality. We've reached the O part of DARVO - Offender (username matches!).

Lol, the current tundras and Tacoma's are are proving horribly unreliable but maybe you'll get lucky
