Exhaust Cooler. Didn't know they existed till I started smelling coolant coming out of my exhaust pipe.

And yeah, the door netting is stupid weak.

- Front shocks first time I went wheeilng with it, not a hard trail. Less than a thousand miles on it. Couldn't warranty them until 10k.
- Front and rear shocks after 30k miles
- Steering stabilizer at 36k
- Drive belt idler, tensioner throwing grease at 38k
- water pump at 38k

I've broken the windsheild but it lasted longer than on my YJ so that was nice.

Tires. For being a lighter vehicle I feel I have worn out rear tires. So I have to rotate pretty often.

I did many 60+ mph down washboard trails. I would at I was the harshest on this Jeep compared to all my other built mall crawlers. I’m fully taking advantage of living in Southern Utah. I know I will need to replace the whole suspension and steering in next year. I drive 18K miles a year here. Wish it lasted longer, but that’s not the only issue I have with the Mojave suspension.
Oooo ok, now it makes, some sense, still that’s was a short run🤔, what shocks you think would be better? Metalcloack? Öhlins (may last a while, but the price is proportional to the lifespan)?

Ohlins are discontinued. I tried to get them last December. And if you do find a set. You can't get them serviced that easy. I ended up with the 2.5 King remote with adjustments

Well that saves me some research. Ran across Ohlins the other day and figured I’d add them to the “research” list. Thanks!! :like:

No offense but they was either way over priced or not as good as purported or else they would still be in production ? What ya think 🤔

Top shelf shocks at around $4,000 a set. Great shocks. Think Ohlins was testing the Jeep market with them. Only a few places handled them. But low sales hurt them.

I have 120K on mine. I need to replace my windshield for the 4 th time due to rock damage. This time is the worst cracking I’ve ever had. 😳.
I’m also on my fourth set of tires. I went with KO2’s this time so we will see how long they last.
My rear window decided to leak. We ended up putting the silicon tube in then filling in the rest with silicon sealant because the window isn’t sitting in evenly. And my absolute favorite is the aux battery dying twice killing everything. Two sets of batteries in under two years is ridiculous. My friend put the genesis system in his and I’m seriously looking at doing the same to mine now that I’ve paid off my note.
Someone else mentioned something I’m going to have the dealership check out for me when I get it serviced before I go on a trip back east. Thanks to the OP for putting up the post because it might solved a mystery.

i think there is a thread about stuffing 1/8 vacuum tube in the permanently fixes this and the roll is like $8
I did this fix, then added marine quality silicone sealant where that didn’t fill the remaining gap. No further leaks even in heavy rain. It’s been almost a year since doing that fix.

Windshield too. I made it 50 years of driving without a broken windshield, and my JT made it about 8 months . . .
Windshield don’t make it a year.
On my wrangler my steering stabilizer made it about two years.

Thank you for mentioning this. Going to have the dealership check this out when I go in next month.
