If you are planning a bumper/spare tire carrier anyway, have a look at this: https://titanfueltanks.com/products/trail-trekkerI have thought about getting a swing away tire carrier and getting a tank made for it that can be removed when not needed. 15 gallons should do it.
Sorry for reviving an old thread, do you have the dimensions of this? I want to do something about half as thick front to back as I have a water tank in the bed of my truck as well. And what is the small hose out of the top for? Venting the tank? TIANo part # the tank was custom made and installed by aero tank. Super simple open valve feeds stock tank you can use 100% of bed tank 35 + gal I fill every 6 to 8 weeks jus love it. Aero has my measurements:

How big is that hose, is that 2 inch ID? Is the tee 2"?I’m currently installing a 25 gallon fuel cell. Just gotta bolt it down, I have the fill ran to the fill neck. Will post when finished

That’s pretty much exactly how I was imagining it. Maybe without so many pouches but pretty similar. That’s a butt ton of pouches!!!!My diesel install with a 20 gal Moeller marine fuel tank:

I’ve got a transfer pump under there (Carter 4070) but it usually gravity feeds just fine without it

Do you have the tank vented? My diesel install with a 20 gal Moeller marine fuel tank:

Yes - the plumbing ended up being a little complex. There’s the 1.5” fill hose from filler neck to tank (biggest one visible in the pic), 3/4” air relief from tank to secondary pipe on the filler neck (to rapidly vent air from the tank when filling), then 5/16” hose from a T-fitting on the 3/4” vent that goes to another T-fitting inline with the factory tank vent (to relieve pressure changes over time).Do you have the tank vented?
I don’t get it when people cover their vehicle in MOLLE plates, but don’t cover the plates in MOLLE pouches? That’s a butt ton of pouches!!!!![]()
