One thing I noticed when I put my information in. The link just asks for your name phone number and address...no email. But when you hit submit you get an email from Jeep. I was wondering how they would keep people who didn't get the email from registering...I guess I know now.

I was just at a dealership, and there was a Chrysler representative there, and none of them knew anything about the early pre-launch on April 3. The Chrysler representative was aware of the launch edition pre-order on April 4. I initially thought that the launch edition gladiators might be released in the very beginning but I was told that they will not be made until wave 3 so you can likely order a gladiator and receive it before the launch edition ones ship. I was shocked at how little information the dealership actually had and found myself educating them. I was told that the dealerships will have a conference call tomorrow at 3 PM to discuss the details. If the early pre-order on April 3 is real would somebody send me the link when they get it tonight? [email protected].

So I just got a call from Kent @ Peterson. He's frantically putting in orders for people who told him they are interested in the LE. Asked for home address, which wasn't asked on the LE site. He said to expect a call from the Concierge service and then confirm I'm working with him. I'm guessing he's just putting my info in the pre-order system just like I already did through the web address (with the addition of a street address).

EDIT: Yes, just got the same confirmation e-mail when I filled out the on-line form. Was hoping the pre-order already made it to the dealer...

They said they will start calling people around 9am tomorrow.
It all depends what place you are in line and that line started the first time someone hit the submit button on the gladiator launch order site.

From the confirmation email:
"To ensure your best chance of securing this Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition, please watch for incoming phone calls and emails from the support team."

This means you have the opportunity to work with the dealer of your choice to place an order for the LE. Your order is not actually in until you had the dealer a deposit and they place the order. You might be first inline to be called by the jeep concierge agent but if you drag your feet getting to the dealer and placing the order you are not guaranteed a LE Gladiator.

The good news is I believe we got a really good jump on everyone else because the LE Gladiator order site is not linked from Jeep.com yet.

Also my dealer friend got an email later in the day that said....

April and May production is all pre-spec. Dealer ordering in April will be June Production.

What everyone has to remember is the order is not in unless you talk to your dealer and they submit the order.

My dealer indicated that the actual order system for them will not be available until 7:01am tomorrow. So not sure how anyone is putting an order in the system already. Once the concierge contacts you then you have contact the dealer you indicate, the dealer will then place your order. What is unclear is whether the order the dealer puts in is validated somehow via the concierge.

Calls will start "supposedly" at 9a, in order of when the orders were placed. However, I take with a grain of salt, because as of 12:01 am today we should have been able to preorder.
