I am happy with it. Made well, could use more welding on the bends, but appears to be higher quality than so e of the other overseas items

Quadratec has the Smittybilt at 115 lbs... guessing they listed the actual ship weight and not the actual bumper only weight....

So, my first attempt with Plasti Dip wasa FAIL! The spray itself was okay, but I masked off the areas that I didn't need to spray and I couldn't remove the mask without removing the sprayed on part that I needed to stay. Therefore I painstakenly had to remove all of the Plasti dip. I just ordered more and plan to spray the entire grill inserts and not just the inserts that will show through. Enough spray to make a solid coat so I can peel it right off when I need to. Many lessons learned.

PLASTI DIP SUCCESS!!

I did a half can of white for the base coat in order for the blue to pop, then 1.5 cans of blue. I would estimate a solid 6-8 coats, so it should be easy to peel off when I'm ready for a change. Next up are the silver fog light trims, but I hear it's a PITA to remove the bumper cover just to access the trim, but tedious hard work has never stopped me!

I just had the RC 2 1/2 put on my overland. I love it. 35’ Falkens and Mopar beadlocks go on later this week. Got rid of the factory rake too.

Hi there, with your RC 2 1/2 lift did it include spacers for the rear? I just had it installed and it only came with front spacers. I would have liked a bit more lift in the back

The rough country 2.5 leveling kit just comes with the front spacers I am having mine installed tomorrow and I am running 35 inch tires on the factory wheels

Installed my uniden cmx760 cb with my firestik 3 ft NGP black antenna on a hood mount... sorry for the crappy pictures... I’m dead tired doing it from 9:30pm to 11:30 pm mtn time... oh and why so late... it was 96° today... and 74° at night.

Do you have any concerns about metal flex while the antenna is mounted and possibly getting wacked by limbs ?
