:movember: How about just the driver's door?
Speaking as someone who has done this, do what’cha gotta. I was stuffing flyers in mailboxes and it worked perfect.

I do it once in a while. Especially if the dog will be riding in the back seat but I want the tube doors on for me. Or in this case on a trip to Colorado when I only brought the front tubes because of lack of room!

Thanks for posting that picture! I have the same question as the OP with a similar situation and thought about only taking the front two off but didn't have a clue how it would look. You answered that question!

Fronts for me too. 2 kids in the back, they loved having their doors off at the beach where avg speed was 30. At home it’s all highway, they get full doors til I get something I’m ok with back there.

I plan on riding with only the fronts off for a majority of the time - at least until the kids get older.

Almost bought a DJ once, kinda glad I didn't, had no idea they were only 2wd with an empty shell of a tag axle up front. I would however not kick an alaskan postal CJ8 out of bed for eating crackers.

That 258 must sound unique with that zoomie pipe. I know my old CJ sounded unpleasing despite wearing two glass packs in line.

But yeah, it's cool to take just the drive off should you need to otherwise you need to by symetric. It'd be like taking off only the driver side freedom top. Been there and seen it, wish I could unsee it. THAT looked dorky and not in that I'm so famous I'm IN-famous way.

Yep same here. Two kiddos in car seats. Rear doors stay on until they grow out of the car seats.
I was thinking car seats would be safer when it comes to no doors. Right now my youngest is strapped in to a 5 point harness. When he transitions to a booster, which will be soon, I'd be much more concerned about him rolling out the missing door.

I think the front panels and doors off looks pretty good on the gladiator but I'm not a real jeeper.

Where I live doesn't have a garage, so storing the doors may be a pain in the butt to haul all the way inside a spare room or something. Just taking off two is a way easier option, but I always think JL's look dorky with the rear doors still in and fronts out.

What do you think??
Honestly, who cares... you do you, screw anyone else.

Yeah i have the feeling that even though they are plenty safe in the car seat, if people see it they are going to flip out and police and everyone are going to be on you like sweetened condensed milk on toast.

So you're saying every jeep purchase comes with a free police escort? Great selling point.

Seriously though, I probably should talk to BRPD and see if they care one way or the other. Dispatch deals with enough real calls that I'm sure they'd have no problem telling a caller they don't care.
