UGGH!!!:headbang:
I had a repetitive dream about a rattle snake in my yard from 4:30am to 6:00am this morning. It was quick I never could catch/shoot it but it kept popping up. Thanks!!;)

Today's project completed, after a failed attempt.

Tough on a concave.

Again a Evil Bay purchase, much like to hood graphic shown in a different post.

Spent a major portion of my life in the armed services, so a Patriot (Not the Jeep product!) blood to bone.

A couple of decals aft of the hood-fender vents.

You could go sticker crazy on Jeeps, yet I think I'm done.

Celebrated the 184th anniversary of the Battle of Gonzales by giving my JT a good washing. It was the first normal activity I have done since tropical storm Imelda flooded my house. Regarding the debris pile in my front yard, hey City of Beaumont - come and take it!

how do you like that? Do you think it'll decrease your departure angle much, and if it does, will it hold up?

Hey @steffen707 I don’t plan to do any serious off roading with my truck. Will be going down some rutty dirt roads to get to some boat landings to launch kayaks. I have 4 on a trailer. Simple ride for my truck. But I will throw a bike rack into the bed of the truck and will need that step up assistance. Was born as a short person, still short. For me it’s a tad difficult to climb into the bed without this step. Was a lot easier today getting in to try getting a bike rack into the bed. Only other thing that I wish I could somehow add would be a bed grab handle so I could grab that while stepping onto my bed step and into the bed. I am creative and will come up with a grab handle. It will happen.

Oh and Steffen the step pad itself is held on by just 3 small screws. When you want to go off-roading then just remove the step pad. That is a savings of about 2 and a half inches in clearance. Tomorrow I will take some up close pictures so you can see what this will do to cut down on your departure clearance.

EDIT: DON'T EVER TRY TO CHANGE THE LIGHT BULB FROM THE ENGINE BAY, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND JUST TAKE THE GRILL OFF, SOOOOOO EASY. 6 push pins and voila, 3 bolts per headlight allow you to work from padded bench. These lights have a exterior balast, but that was able to fit inside the light housing so the dust cap closed like factory. Not sure if i'll have overheating issues as the bulb can't cool to the exterior air, but.....no mud caked in there either.

Finally got around to installing my new headlights and fog light bulbs.
First there is a long thread about LED bulbs in the halogen reflector housing (https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/led-bulb-replacement-it-works.19953/page-12).

Hopefully I don't blind people, but the cutoff line appears to be as straight as the stock bulbs were. Who knows. lots of videos and info from headlight revolution about this mod as well.

Headlights:, I dunno what happened, but i lucked out. these are now $169.....

Fog light bulbs: $24.49
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H8CAC5K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If you notice at the top of the bulb there are a series of black holes. This is so you can "clock" the bulb so the LEDs point 3 and 6 o'clock. However, I thought this was infinately adjustable, its not. So the bulb isn't actually perfectly pointing 3 and 6..... Still looks great.

headlight photos like this are pointless, it never captures what it looks like in person, lol But they're still fun.

new headlights, old fog light on left, it looked MUCH dimmer than the new fog bulb.

It’s a single step, on passengers side. Can’t put one on the drivers as the muffler is in that back area of the truck. It’s ok with me as I only need one step to get into the bed. Kinda slick if you ask me. And FYI Dales sells it delivered for the same price that AMP charges and they may still have a few more on hand while AMP is out of stock. And every week AMP says 2 more weeks. Bestop is said to be coming out with a bed step but I didn’t want to wait for them. Here’s a screen shot of the item number from Dales.
