Thanks man! That was very helpful, the last quadratech video I saw they were saying 2x6
Do the 2x4 on the fenders first, put tailgate in half position, put straight edge from tailgate to 2x4, measure up from the floor of the bed.

Well, this is the thread about what we do "TO" our Gladiators, even if it was not intended. Went out into the White River area of Colorado to explore and see the leaves. Came to a hard challenge with several boulders that would have easily high centered me so decided to take the "easy" bypass. It climbed a steep 17 degree hill between two trees with only about 4 inches to spare on each mirror. But at the point where the trees were there was a 15 inch vertical section with exposed roots. Front went right up and over but rears hung and spun on the roots (even locked up). Decided to back up and of course the slight off camber slipped the front over and Bam! there goes one fender...

More photos. And yes, even with the Builtright rack the lights work well enough to cook dinner. I may want to relocate that 2 gal of gas next time though... Almost ran over this snake on the way in. He was pissed I forced him to move off the road...

What’s your thoughts on the front windows for inspection? It looks great but in NY I’ll have to rip off the tint every year to get it inspected
do you need to have your doors on during the inspection?

No. that is a 30 year old Springbar tent made in Salt Lake City. Sadly, the main Zipper blew out on this trip due to a certain Golden Retarded deciding to just run right through the damn thing in the middle of the night. As I inspected it today I realized it has a number of holes now and I would prefer a bit bigger base camp tent so today I purchased one of these:

Looks good. I haven't really researched these tents in awhile. I would encourage you to look at the Kodiak tents and their reviews. It's worth a look! Happy Camping!

Man that sucks. We wheeled ours this weekend for the first time and I was so nervous. Thankfully I had good spotters and everything went well. Several times we had the pitch and roll gauges over 24* down in some deep gullys with steep inclines and more trees to dodge than Carter has liver pills. It's still 2 weeks before the first payment is due.

Looks like my 10x10 Kodiak, I've been to Montana, Idaho, Yellowstone, Northern Michigan and Airplane camping at Oshkosh for many years. Best tent ever!
I've been thinking of a roof top tent or a small teardrop trailer for camping. Thinking about cost, storage and maintenance, I keep realizing the that the Kodiak is the best way to go for me.

I installed my @BuiltRight front panel and had to re-arrange stuff late last night. Going to Jeep Camp in Crivitz Wisconsin on October 11th. Still time to register before October 6th deadline, see the link in my signature.

I probably don't need to cramb everything tight on my rack, but i'm going to for max efficiency. Might need to move the m18 chainsaw back as the bar is inside the handle of the shovel. I put the shovel there because the filler neck buldge isn't shovel handle rated. More space on passenger side rear of box.

I flipped the axe head up because it can fit behind the shovel to give more room below shovel. Thinking that's where my sawhorse rubber bumps and straps will go.

The quickfist mini quick grips the shovel and axe use stick out too far to keep the PLYWOOD RATING for Gladys if they're on the sides. but on the backwall if I remove everything from the racks, but leave the mounts its still RATED FOR PLY I believe. For the few times a year I need to haul Plywood I don't mind taking everything off the racks, but taking those mounts off is a PITA!
The racks look bare now, NEED MORE STUFF!
