Has anyone tried the Aires powered steps? Pricey but looks corrosion resistant and provides good side protection. Interested in any experience or comments from this forum.

Anyone install mopar rails, part number 82215606?
I’d like to see pictures. Wondering is it has a ledge wide enough to stand on (even on tip toes) while getting into the gladiator.

I had these on our JT originally and NO, not enough space to stand on.

Finally got them installed

Just ordered the Rock Hard 4x4 Angled Down Sliders for my Gobi JT Rubicon. This is the only photo I could find with them on a JT.
I think they will look pretty good! Should be about 3 weeks, and I’ll post some photos with them on my Jeep.

haha 8 months for me.

that being said, I’m not a glutton for punishment. I anticipate the body mounted will release first, and that will be plenty of protection for me, so I’ll grab those. Then maybe I’ll think about rhino lining depending on whether they offer the option themselves like their JL steps.

I will say I’m a little peeved about the pricing difference. The JL side armor steps are either 400 or 500 and the rock rails are 700. Meanwhile the JT side armor steps are 700 and there’s no rock rail product yet.
I don’t understand how the slightly longer step can equate to a 2 or 300 dollar price difference

I like the 2nd step setup a lot, but that’s quite a price point.

I installed my Mopar performance rock rails i don’t use a step but my wife does so it’ll work for her & protect just as good as regular Rubicon rails, my JK had the Rock hard patriot rails & they are very good but slick as steps for the wife.
