It has its merits but the bed would be full of all the crap I have under the rear seats. Hopefully the price point is way lower to appeal more to the public.

I love the concept, my bet is it’s on hold due to the possible baby Bronco intro.

If the J6 had been intro first, I would have gone for quickly. I had to think about the Gladiator, but the extra room in the back seat area very useful, especially for my Camera equipment. A J6 with a Club or extended cab would have been perfect, as I normally only carry one pax.
Cheers

I'd be all over buying a 2 door JT, but doubt it ever happens. Unfortunately, regular cab trucks will soon go the way of the manual transmission.

I'd buy one if it came out. It wouldn't replace my Gladiator though.

Almost seems they could create that beast by just putting a different body/bed tub onto the existing JL chassis. Would keep costs down to create another vehicle.

but damn I love those rims

A 2-door mid-size pickup will never been seen on U.S. soil again. That ship has sailed. There's no business case for it. It does look cool. I admit it is a COOL concept. But cool doesn't always pay the bills.

They would sell, but really makes no sense.

Extra cab would make far better sense, the extra behind the seat storage and the big one would being able to slide the seat back for those who are over 6'.

I already have a 4 door Wrangler, also have a Grand Cherokee , a GMC 2500HD and '94 Chevy S10 ZR2. Saying there is no business case for the J6 is like saying there is no business case for a corvette, camaro, mustang, etc. Any chance to sell more engines, transmissions, frames, drivelines, bodies, interiors, etc. by piggy backing off of existing products seems to be enough of a business case to me not to mention the public outcry to produce it.
