I am trying, as much as reasonably possible, to make my Gladi look like an LAV, just need a turret, a couple more axles, and a few other mods.

That's what I'm saying, need that 80s light armor aesthetic.
Gotta figure out how to slap a Detroit diesel in my JT and we'll be halfway there

On our last trip to the desert we were with friends who both have Jeeps that are equipped with a whip, we had yet to get one so we wheeled in between our friends.
Today I picked up a cheap whip to hold us over until we get an LED whip.
A trip to the local orange diy store, a few dollars and a few minutes later we have our mount. Because Im using the shallow unistrut the spring nuts required removing the spring.

Installed a JCR Offroad Molle Panel for my high-lift. I need to get some Velcro straps for my tow straps etc.

keeps it high and dry under the tonneau. I am thinking a bed mat next. I like the smartliner

@JimThe4th Those are nice. Im looking around at option for Molle Panels. Do you know off hand if JCR’s has an ootion for use with the bedrais?
If not, it seems simple enough to adapt to it.

do you mean the "trail rail". if so, yes it works with it. you un-mount the trail rail and this mounts in the same holes with the rail on the top

Finished up my on board air and 4x8 sheet goods setup. The tank mounts are Quick Fist tank straps (the 2 1/2 to 9 1/2 diameter size). They're hard to see, but I setup 2x4 blocks (glued and screwed to the plywood) between the tanks and on the ends, to keep them in place. I also drilled those blocks with pocket holes, but I haven't attached the plywood to the vertical 2x4s yet. It all fits pretty tight, so I'm going to try running with the straps that also hold down my tool bags for now.

Second pic, with the tool bags strapped in place. It all fits nicely under the tonneau cover with room in front for other stuff.
