I took some pictures to show rack details.
This is the max modular 18" rack with adapters for factory bed cover.
You can still easily slide the bed cover back and roll it up to the front posts of the rack

Looks great, thanks for the info. Can you post a few photos mid-rollback (maybe a step-by-step)? This looks like a good solution for my current problem - thanks!

You can mount anything you want up there .
It is the 18", but with the bed cover adapter it's actually 20"
Thanks for the reply and the pics are very helpful. Maybe I didn't ask the right questions though. I get that you can put anything up there, but what I really need to know is how does it all attach? For example how do your kayak racks attach? I'm debating between the 22" aluminum rack and the 18" and I understand that with the tonneau brackets it adds 2.5"

I installed my King smoothie shocks on the front after work today, very smooth during my test drive.

I think they are upside down. Typically the rod is facing up. Not trying to be a dick, just saying.

No these are installed only this direction the upper bushing is longer on one side , it wouldn’t even fit the other way but thanks for your concern.

Hmm...sorry. I've never seen them like that. They are a good looking shock. What's the difference between that and a Fox or something else? Ride quality?

I think FOX rides a little more firm these are smoother . and totally rebuildable if I wanted to change the ride I can change the valving. but FOX is still a great shock.

Fox is great off road. A little stiff inroad which is what has kept me from getting them again.

Everything just bolts on
The kayak racks drop inside the slots on the top bars.
You could easily mount cross bars on the top there are multiple mount spots

Installed Metalcloak fenders front and rear, with matching front inner fenders. Cut and recapped Rubicon Rock Rails to suit. Removed the OEM bumper wings. Also, trimmed (chopped, really) OEM plastic rear inner fenders to give a little protection/deflection while I wait for the Metalcloak versions to arrive.

Just installed my Metalcloak front and rear fenders this weekend and it might be discussed further in this thread, but did you have any issues with the white LEDs? I am 99% sure I'm wired correctly, white lights come on with markers in parking light switch condition and run with the DRL's and are on with the headlights...amber strip is working with turn signals and flash when I lock and unlock the doors, but my white strip is staying on after I shut the Jeep off. It stays solid for about 30 seconds and then goes to a very dim strobe. I tried turning off the light delay setting but that didn't do anything. Similar to the car not sensing the amber strip and assuming the turn signals are burned out, I'm wondering if the amp/watt draw on this is so low that the car isn't sensing them to actually shut them off? I haven't reached out to MetalCloak yet...
