Just installed my Metalcloak front and rear fenders this weekend and it might be discussed further in this thread, but did you have any issues with the white LEDs? I am 99% sure I'm wired correctly, white lights come on with markers in parking light switch condition and run with the DRL's and are on with the headlights...amber strip is working with turn signals and flash when I lock and unlock the doors, but my white strip is staying on after I shut the Jeep off. It stays solid for about 30 seconds and then goes to a very dim strobe. I tried turning off the light delay setting but that didn't do anything. Similar to the car not sensing the amber strip and assuming the turn signals are burned out, I'm wondering if the amp/watt draw on this is so low that the car isn't sensing them to actually shut them off? I haven't reached out to MetalCloak yet...
Yes, same issue, which is known to MetalCloak and apparently occurs with other LED options. Spoke with Matson at MetalCloak. They have been working on a fix. According to all I have asked, the power draw is so insignificant that the continuously running dim LED strip will not affect battery performance even if the JT is not started for months. The issue seems to be caused by two things: the ECU's inability to identify any aftermarket replacement lights as those will not answer the ECU with an expected ID, which causes it to continue to send very low power to them even when the JT is off or if the main battery is disconnected (a touch of BUS power coming to the lights); and, the MC LEDs you are seeing have such a low requirement that they actually run a bit on that extremely low power. Bottom line: nothing to be concerned about when it comes to your JT's functions and a bit of a wait for a solution from MC or other aftermarket suppliers.

Took delivery/custody/ownership of Rudius yesterday morning, drove it home in the afternoon, took the driver's-side top off and went to dinner with friends in the evening.

Installed 2 of the three bed MOLLE panels by JCR offroad. Thrilled with the quality and super fast install. Installed low Mopar grill guard and two 5" PIAA LED lights. Fast hook up to the existing AUX pre wired switches.

Thought I was done adding to my Max. Big trip to Drummond Island U.P., MI in the summer. So, I'm about to click submit on some RK quick disco's. I don't know why I "need" to order them now. I won't get around to install till around May:LOL:but I "want" them now. Geez, I must be going through mod withdrawal. Anyone heard anything good or bad about the RK disco's?

Had the tailgate wrapped and extended around the tail lights. Saw this done and posted by other members with lighter colored rigs in Sting Gray and Billett and really liked the look.
Wasn’t quite sure if it would have the same effect on Firecracker but I gotta say I’m quite pleased with the final result.
