What is it, exactly, that compels most of us to put decals all over our jeeps?? Other than the occasional window decal, I've never placed a decal on the body panels of any previous vehicle.

But with my Gladiator? Well, looks kind of naked without something on the hood, and the cab, and the....

Personally, I like the hood stickers and all the unique touches people have applied to their trucks. I left the Rubicon hood stickers, but replaced the Gladiator stickers with something more appropriate for my build.

I usually debadge my vehicles, my Overland doesn’t even have the Overland badge on the tailgate anymore. That being said, I like it. It looks stock and you aren’t being a poser. Jeeps look good with decals there and it’s not like you are putting Rubicon decals there.

True story, because you can’t make this shit up, someone stole the Rubicon decals off of one side of the hood of my JKU Rubicon when it was only a few months old. WTH.

Rubicon owners get real triggered when you put decals on your hood. They paid an extra $15,000 for those hood stickers and if you ain't rockin a Rubicon at the mall you ain't special like them. lol in all seriousness it's your Jeep you do whatever the hell you want with it.

Lol or less. People always think I am ballin with my JT Rubicon and are shocked I paid less than most sports on the lot by limiting options I didn't want.

Personally I would find it hilarious if somebody put Rubicon stickers on theirs, but it has to be something like a base sport with stock wheels to really pull it off.

Or really screw things up & slam it into a lowrider then add the Rubicon stickers.


On topic: I like the hood decal's. I think I like the hauk offroad tailgate decal more so I couldn't do both unless I found stickers that matched the font & the over-sized letters of the tailgate decal as having the different would drive me crazy.
