Max tow with or without hood “Gladiator” stickers?

The outlined sticker set up looks nice. The blocked letter black on white seems a little plain

yea I contemplated both, but the block lettering is the exact same as the stock lettering on the sport s below the circle badge. I felt like the outlined lettering was trying to hard to be like the Rubi

interesting side note... when I didn’t have the larger hood sticker (the one I’m trying to trick other gladiator owners that I have a rubicon), people always asked me “is that a gladiator”?

Do y’all rubicon owners get that question much? I still get it every once in a while and I just say yep, and point to the hood!

I just had to mess with you man. It was a joke. I saw a perfect opportunity to poke at you a little bit, so I took it. I don't hold any hard feelings against anybody because of their political views or opinions. To me, the internet isn't real life, some folks take things way too seriously.

Cheesy or not, that's all subjective to personal opinion...Doesn't hurt my feelings one way or the other. I'm not big on stickers or decals on vehicles, but I do like the Rubicon stickers on the hood. I also like the red outlining for them, and the fact that Jeep matched up the Trail Rated and JEEP logos to match looks pretty good, IMO.

Back in the early 2000's there were tons of high school kids putting Z71 stickers on 2wd trucks... Low-and-behold, 15 years later, GM decides that Z71 becomes a trim package, and is not strictly for 4wd vehicles...

Back in the early 2000's there were tons of high school kids putting Z71 stickers on 2wd trucks... Low-and-behold, 15 years later, GM decides that Z71 becomes a trim package, and is not strictly for 4wd vehicles...

Yea or those who put the GT on a v6 mustang... pretty funny.

Yeah, almost learned that one the hard way. I told the sales guy I was interested in a 4x4. I didn’t care much about other factory options but required 4wd. I was halfway through paperwork before I realized it was 2wd. It had lots of off-road crap. It was oddly confusing with the packages listed, they could not answer me for certain. I finally go outside and look under the truck and pointed out to the sales guy that it had no transfer case or front driveline. His response was, “but the computer says it’s 4wd!” The dealership then handed me off to a different sales guy. In the end, I did get a good deal on a 4x4.

oh yeah, I like your jeep with the decal. I have a Rubi so I’m happy with that but don’t consider added decals as posing. I’d have been happy if the factory came with the Gladiator decal. My favorite non-Jeep centric hood decal is still “DILLIGAF”. I don’t care for misrepresentations like adding Rubicon to non-Rubicon equipped Jeeps, or like GM redefining Z71. Good luck on deciding which makes you smile more.

Some of us purposefully did not purchase the Rubicon. I wanted the jeep form factor and toughness but in a DD vehicle that will see pickup duty pretty often. Like towing and hauling. I will see if a front locker or limited slip is necessary, but at the moment the rear limited slip in the Max Tow has been adequate for what I do. I have always been a fan of the Gladiator so the sticker trips my trigger. I would love to try and get the gladiator front end, integrated on to my modern gladiator, that would be neat..

With, I just like the added decorations to break up my white with some green. Doubt I would have put any decals on if FCA would have offered the green from 2010. Love the color (forest green pearl) I think.
