Will vary with their hourly rate........... I suspect it could take them 1 - 1.5 hours?? That's how long an experienced tech with the right tools and knowledge of the JT could take to install the Redarc type and they aren't that different in many ways - other than POSSIBLE integration into the system.
Around here that means 150-200?

Got mine ordered. Supplier released 1,400 parts, 500+ ordered nationwide, I'm like 307th in line. Been trying to get this for my Sport S since I bought it in April.

Ya, I could not wait so i installed a Redarc. I didnt want to loose the 12v outlet. Little grinding and you can sneak it in. See the picture. I would have gone with factory but they delayed to long. I find it funny that a truck with a tow package took most a year to release the parts.

Amazingly, it seems like they made it smaller than the key fob!!
I installed my Prodigy 3 in the parking lot of the trailer shop in 10 minutes with one screwdriver and a pocket knife.

While I desperately want this, I am not willing to give up my 12v plug at this point. Until I see what others are doing to replace that item, I'm going to wait.

The 12v plug in the Jeep and on my motorcycle are virgins. No use for them these days with USB already installed in vehicles. The price however is just stupid, compared to a great inertia controller normally costing $130 or so.

Dunno, everything I have is USB - save for my Garmin and I can charge that up at home or with a different adapter and use it if I need. So I simply moved the wire for that 12 volt outlet over to the right nearer the glove box "just in case" and saved the outlet parts. I'll simply relocate it IF I decide I do want a 12 volt outlet.
There are some coolers around that use that sort of plug - my wife had thought about getting one so maybe I'll run the wires to the back seat area and relocate the 12 volt outlet back there.
