POLL - for those who have the MOPAR official brake controller only

We are trying to determine why some people who have the Mopar official brake controller are seeing troubles with the dash when the controller button is released while others are saying no, it's fine.
So to determine where the differences MAY lie, there are some questions - but ONLY for those who have the actual Mopar brake controller recently released into the wild.
Mopar part number 82215652AB ONLY please. (As far as we know this is the only official number for the Mopar trailer brake controller kit)

Please post the build date of your JT. We are looking for MONTH, DAY and YEAR.
You can fine month and year on the sticker on your door frame - you can find the DAY on the corner of that same sticker under MDH which is month, day, hour.

ALSO - please post if you have LED lighting, as well as ACC

In this example, the build date MDH shows January 13 (0113) so you can post MODEL year and the build month and DAY.

Do we get a FIX for this since it's a MOPAR supplied genuine part made specifically for our Jeeps??
There's a warranty on ALL Mopar numbered products, correct?

Do not have ACC
Had no problems with stability control or anything else.
controller works with trailer.
Standard lighting not LED
trailer lights do not light when manual button is pushed, as directions say
Brake controller dash light stays on for a while after turning off truck, probably something discharging, iluminated dash lighting is nice feature.

Does that late build date on 2021 models after August, on the three on the poll that work have anything to do with it, something was changed in trailer connector wiring?? Perhaps we will have problems in future?,....Jack

Installed mopar brake controller on Sunday (bad instructions). My build date is feburary 17,2020. When I push manual brake button either hooked to trailer or not ,I have no lights come on in dash. I have led lights ,acc,safety group,tow package.

Can anyone/everyone who has responded please also add - do you have LED lighting or NON-LED lighting.
It's been brought to my attention this could ALSO be a factor since LED lighting is handled differently by the BCM.

I already responded earlier with issues and yes, I have LED lighting. Launch Edition build date 7/19/19

There's one positive here - next visit to the dealership, when they plug in, they'll see those stored codes and wonder WTF? ;-)
Well, gotta find something positive in it.

On the other hand, I never like seeing a doctor scratching his head either.

They shouldn't as the truck's BCM would interact to handle that - but was looking for some clue as to the differences between those with problems and those without.

It's sort of funny, really - Jeep is selling a product that won't help with CA trailer brake light laws.
So if you live in CA - you not only need a controller but also another circuit to handle those lights.
