Christmas spirit for my new toy:

I bought a couple cheap 150w inverters. Wired one up front to Aux switch. Then wired one in the bed stealing power from the 7 pin trailer plug. I used pins 5 and 7 so they only come on with the running lights. I'm also playing it safe with 15 amp fuses. Got these fuse holders on Amazon.

Lights are professional grade 5mm LED lights with a rectifier to eliminate flickering. They are pricey but well worth the extra cost because they look 10x better than my other cheap lights from the big box stores. I went with cool white up front and it matches the LED headlight color great. Red in the back. Hopefully this is fully legal. Police can technically ticket you for any blue lights, but maybe I'll get brave next year with multi color lights.

Why didn't I use 12v lights and skip the inverters? Good luck finding them! I found it to be cheaper and easier to just give up on the 12v modifications I've seen in youtube videos. Inverters are $15 to $20 a piece and each light string only uses 5 watts.

Then it's lots of zip ties and I'm done! I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Ordered some recovery boards for my cargo rack to match my silver paint.

Finally finished up my power mods, all of my hood and vent decals that match the factory Rubicon decals are installed. The other subdued big HP gain mod, the 30” light bar and pods have been there for a few months.

Finally got the Rubicon shocks and springs installed along with a Teraflex leveling kit. Guess I’ve got a little ways to go to match their shop truck. They’re the local Jeep guru and the truck drives much better after their alignment setup.

Put on a set of Rocktrix Rt 105 wheels with 285/70/17 KO2’s
Wheels are +12 offset (5.5” backspace)
As you see it, no lift, no leveling kit.
Max tow, wide Dana axles, 4.10, etc.

Put 37“ Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires, Mopar Slotted wheels and Rubicon flares on my stock Max Tow. Putting Mojave front springs on in the morning. So far they don’t rub at all.

I need to wire up a winch disconnect myself. The EVO 10-S draws over 350 amps at max draw. Have you had, or do you anticipate, any issues with the switch?

Blue Sea does marine so they under-rate the shit out of their stuff. You will have no issues because while those switches are rated 350A continuous, you can run them for like 5 minutes out of the hour at the intermittent rating which is over 500A.

Are thy worth the money?

I think so, I use it as a clean solution to store my winching, tie down, and offroad recovery gear, and keep it out of the cab. I’ve had it a few months now and it’s still holding up well, but time will tell.
