Hey guys. Bought the 35 spline RCV shafts. They don’t fit with the factory seals. Has anyone done this swap that can give me some guidance?

thanks!

Well based on your photo it says JK on it. The ones for Gladiator would say JL on it. Not sure if that matters.

Part would be CVJ44-JL-35. I dunno enough about the JK vs JL axle differences to know if that's the issue.

The part number on the box is correct. Might be the same bolt kit.

You’re adding the ARB at the same time, right? Wouldn’t the seals be with that?
Or maybe you’re talking about the seal at the FAD? I thought that one got removed completely for the 35 spline kit, but I may be completely wrong...

Have you switched out your lockers to after market? If not you may have gotten the wrong ones. The stock Rubicon is IAW RCV's website is 32 spline. Not sure if that would make a difference in the correct seals vs stock seals.

Im adding both ARB lockers (RD246) along with the RCV. Neither came with the seals.

First, I admit I don’t know enough about this swap to give educated advice, but I want to learn. What’s up with the snap rings on the splines?

The snap rings hold the outer birfield joints onto the shaft.

We are doing the same 35 spline and arbs. Idk if you found this already but here is the install video from RCV

I could be wrong, but I think that video is the 32 spline shafts. No way these will fit with stock seals.

I have a call out to a few places trying to find out. I can’t find anything that states that fits the larger axle shaft.

Let us know what you find out! Looking forward to doing this as well. Just picked up the 35 spline arb for the front
