Did a fuel range & low fuel warning check on the way home from work. Starting up to leave work range said 20 miles for the 17 mile drive home. Arrived at the off ramp to my house with the Low Fuel Range warning lit. Turned on the stop start at the last long light before the Chevron station.
Made it to the pump and was able to fuel up with 19.894 gal. using the TFL method of one final pull after 30 seconds.

Finally installed my metal cloak disconnects. Theyre too long though. Taking them tomorrow to cut them down and re thread so i can keep sway bar engagement the way i want it to feel on road.

And also.....dont judge me.

I recently installed a 1 1/2” Teraflex front level kit. Today I swapped my Overland shocks for some Rubicon take offs along with a set of JKS quick disconnect swaybar links. I now have my Gladiator how I’ve wanted it to be.

Rubicon shocks make a big difference? Have overland shocks on my High altitude and leveled it. As supple as the ride it's a bit too unpredictable from it in my opinion.

Yes I have the steel new steering box (21) and I did a teraflex steering stabilizer too.

Just not used to how soft it is. Coming from a lifted JKU.

I swapped my JTMT shocks for the rubi fox shocks and have been happy with the feel. From what I've read its a drastic improvement over the stock overland shocks. If you can get a set cheap enough its a worthwhile upgrade.

I wish Metalcloak made a set of those at a no-lift stock length....both front and back...

Im up 4” up front from a stock rubicon and they are still too long. Metal Cloak is set up for rock crawling, and their shocks i think extend down past 28” so I get it...but the sway bar engagement isn’t ideal on road, and Im actually worried that a high-speed rut out that compresses the front axle to bump stop would be limited by sway bar up travel. They’re just too long for anything but a rock crawler, imo. Someone who knows more may have better info than me, but that’s just what I see. So I’m going to cut and thread down.

I got them because they seem to be the cleanest units out there that have good finish and good pins, and dont require cutting things off the stock axle which I didnt want to do.
