I'm hoping for a Build it However the heck you want to Edition!!! It's like they're forcing me into an Overland. Each Edition doesn't have one of the options I want. I know all the parts fit so stop stressing me out with silly choices JEEP!!!

Yeah it can get pretty old pretty fast. Thankfully I know I want a rear locker (so Mojave or Rubicon) and I know I want a diesel (which just leaves Rubicon). What's forcing your hand to an Overland?

Yeah it can get pretty old pretty fast. Thankfully I know I want a rear locker (so Mojave or Rubicon) and I know I want a diesel (which just leaves Rubicon). What's forcing your hand to an Overland?
Yes, I know I'm petty but get this:
80th- Leather not an option
Freedom- No 8.4
Sport S- No Close Proximity
The 3 things that I really want!

yeah, I’m with you on that. I wanted front and rear lockers, and black fenders... doesn’t leave but one choice.

yeah, I’m with you on that. I wanted front and rear lockers, and black fenders... doesn’t leave but one choice.
Lucky!!! I even looked the Texas Trail which I would love to have but no Close Proximity doors.

Have you found this thread yet? The google sheet is extremely helpful. Looks like the 8.4 is available on Freedom.

Have you found this thread yet? The google sheet is extremely helpful. Looks like the 8.4 is available on Freedom.
I've looked at the build sheets online and I've asked 3 different dealers if they can build a Freedom with 8.4 and they said no. It shows as an option but it's not REALLY an option right now!

Leather is super easy to add with Katzkin or leatherseats.co. Easier to add than your other preferred options.

Leather is super easy to add with Katzkin or leatherseats.co. Easier to add than your other preferred options.
I've been reading up on those and it seems like the best option! The other option is to get a better job so I can afford a High Altitude! LOL

The Jeep website just changed! Not able to choose all of the options in the 80th but I can’t tell if the 8.4 is now standard.

Yep...after picking up a Pacifica Hybrid for the wife this past month, I am amazed at the gas mileage. I would happily trade my Overland in for a 4Xe.
It's not going to be anything close to the Pacifica. If they use the same battery as the Wrangler expect range to be like 18 miles. Then you're just carting around an additional 600lbs on the 4cyl turbo.

That’s not accurate. While the range is pretty limited in electric only mode, when in hybrid the electric motor assist in takeoff and applies torque throughout. So even after the battery is depleted you still get battery assisted power, good for 375hp and 470lbs of torque.

Also Wrangler gets 2 new powertrains but Gladiator 'might' get one?
so it will be either the V8 or the 4xe. I have yet to see/hear Anything about towing with the 4xe.
Well....knowing FCA, it'll probably be some 4-cylinder, normally aspirated, 1.6-liter powerhouse that makes about 12 hp going downhill with a tailwind.
